I stay away weekly all over the country. The Ship was recommended and did not disappoint. It was the hottest day of the year, and although the car park was jammed, they allowed me to park in the staff car park. The room was spotless, had every amenity you could think off with a fan already on. The view was superb, with binoculars for looking out into the nature reserve. I ate in the restaurant on their patio and ordered a sirloin steak roll without expectations. It was superb! The steak was quality. The breakfast, plentiful and fresh. I’m booking my return for next week and it’s rare I do that because I’m picky having run hotels for many years. Says it all really.

The room was very clean, breakfast and dinner were excellent. Easy check-in process. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

A good Hotel in a great and interesting position. Evening food in particular was good.

The Ship has so much character. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were well kept. We highly recommend for a relaxing stay on a very cute strip.

We had a lovely room overlooking the marshes. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. There were toiletries for our use and great towels. We had evening meal downstairs and it was excellent. Breakfast had a lot of choices and the staff were very attentive. Booking out was easy and the staff made us feel very welcome. Will definitely stay again.
