Had to ask for clean towels and coffee sachets. Also had to ask for room to be cleaned and bedding changed after 3 days. So a 7 day stay only changed once. Lights not working. Shower connected to taps so unable to control water temperature. Shaving light above sink not working. Towel rail in bathroom got dangerously hot and was held together with insulating tape. A small step down to the room had no hazard warning tape or aluminaton, tripped over going out and fell down going in.

I had to chose this property as a previously booked property cancelled our stay. We arrived on the hottest day of the year after a very long car journey and the guy on reception did hand us 2 bottles of luke warm water and then complained about how hot it was. We where shown to a very small room that had no windows but advised we could leave the door open at night, there was a fan blowing hot air around in the room. We left our bags in the room and went to the bar area to order some food, again the guy complained about the heat and how hot it was in the kitchen, he obviously did not want us to order food but after the long journey we did not want to travel to find food, the food when it arrived was quite nice. The bedding was clean but the bed was uncomfortable you could feel the springs digging into you as you lay there, the pillows where equally bad very lumpy. I had to clean the bath before I could shower as it had a lot of hairs in it, the general cleanliness was not great in the room as lots of cobwebs and a dead spider on the ceiling. At breakfast a different guy serving but again complaining about the heat, the breakfast was average. We went to the bar for a drink in the evening and the guy was telling everyone how hot it was whilst he worked so my husband did not feel he could order any food so we went elsewhere. Customer service was not great, you felt an inconvenience being there, yes it was hot if it was that bad they should have closed the kitchen.

Excellent family owned hotel with restaurant and bar. Plenty parking, WiFi and a fantastic outdoor setting/garden. Ground floor rooms, clean and very well maintained. Visited with family and really enjoyed staying here with kids. Only drawback is the network reception is poor but that's a normal thing in countryside areas. The hotel can get you a taxi. King's Lynn is 5 miles away.

Amazing little place. Very close to Watatunga Wildlife Reserve (which we were visiting) and also easy to get up to the coast quickly. Very friendly staff and excellent food, we had dinner as well as breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

The Andel Lodge was a gem of a find! My sister and I stayed there on Tuesday 19th May and we were so impressed with everything! The decor was lovely, everywhere was spotlessly clean and our twin room was so cute! The staff were great, especially Theresa who really looked after us well, along with our aunt, uncle and cousin who were also staying there as we had a family funeral to go to. The food in the restaurant was stunning to and the breakfast very good. Overall a 10 out of 10 for everything!

Staff were very friendly, rooms were clean. We had one room in the main building and another on the side (had a bath). Breakfast was very good. We sat in the bar for a nightcap both nights, good selection of Gin (including 0 alcohol). Games rooms, pool, darts, etc. Lovely gardens, I can imagine it would be a lovely setting out there on a summer evening.

Ideal for an overnight for a family with a dog.

I was in a garden room small but fully equipped & recently updated. Clean & comfy nice food & drinks reasonably priced will certainty use again when in the area

My first stay here but will definitely stay again when in the area. Slept really well, room was clean, breakfast was good. Overall value good too.

I arrived late due to work, and was met with nothing but warm welcome. I went straight to bed as an early start. I was offered breakfast at 7:30 so I could get on my way, which was cooked fresh and was brilliant. Top people, I’ll be back.

A lovely quaint little gem of a place. The staff were very welcoming and polite. We couldn't fault the food because it was wonderful and home cooked too which is always a plus. The dining room and bar area were old fashioned but classy, very cosy too. We loved it! In the family room the bathroom light over the mirror didnt work. There was an issue with the toilet seat as well! But these were just minor details. Overall would we return? Of course we would whenever we are up that way!

Lovely stay, Staff are excellent very friendly. Comfortable room, however the shower head was dripping which was a little irking. Breakfast was great. Did not have dinner, so unsure what it would be like. Overall I would be back.

Okay room. Very hard bed, but spacious room. Mould in the room and probably needs a new shower. Very smelly in the area, like a fire had been burning all day. Could smell this in the room and my cloths smelt like fire.

Lovely place to stay. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Close to Kings Lynn centre if you’re looking for some food or shopping. Can’t fault it. Will definitely stay again.
