Incredible place. Location is amazing. Walking distance to everything.

Super close to famous landmarks, most notably the Old Course. Backyard patio was good for the guys golf trip.

Great location for golfers and families of students of St. Andrews. Breakfast offered great delicious choices. Great service. A great bonus was a delicious homemade baked item left in dining room each afternoon.

The room was nice other than being on the 3rd floor with no elevator and two twin beds instead of a king. The check in is different, you go to the pub next door and they check you in and the young man carried our bags up and down the stairs. The area is perfect and the pub is a great place to hangout after a round.

The included breakfast was nice. Our room was a small separated building at the back of the property. It was cute but the two twin beds was unexpected. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only negative was that they turned off the power in our room 15 minutes before checkout and I was still finishing packing up.

We had two rooms for 4 people. One room was the detached back cottage with two twin beds and a bit smaller bathroom that our older daughters used, and one room was upstairs with nice space and a very nice restrooms including modern shower my wife and I used. The location was perfect for our brief visit to see some of the St Andrews history and visit the Old Course. The provided breakfast was superb and we enjoyed talking with the staff. The sister property, Dunvegan Hotel, had a nice bar for drinks and listening to the golfers coming in tell their stories. We would stay here again.

Central location good breakfast

Comfortable beds, spacious bath, appeared to be recently remodeled. Excellent breakfast and wonderful staff. Would have given a 5 star rating except there were minor annoyances. In the third floor room, it is very easy to hit you head on the sloped ceiling when getting out of bed. Power outlets were somewhat inconveniently located and lights with with USB power ports did not work (or the switch to turn them on was not easily found). A nice touch was the towel heater in the bathroom but there wasn't an obvious way to turn it on. Would not recommend for anyone who isn't comfortable carrying their bags from a parking lot a block away or is not comfortable carry their bags up1-2 flights of stairs.

Good for golfer

We enjoyed our visit to St. Andrews. Our room was very nice, clean, comfortable bed, large bathroom. Great location, easy walk to downtown, beach, golf course and college. Fun pub next door but not loud in evening. Our breakfast was wonderful. There was no elevator. We would stay here again.

It was a great stay and we were very close to everything we wanted to see and do.

Loved the location in the heart of the town and near the 18th hole. Lots of walkable dining options and the sites. The breakfast was great and, while the room was modest, the bathroom was very large and modern. Our TV did not work, but not a big deal. WiFi was adequate. Parking is available on back streets, but can be tricky.

Great location for everything. Lots of food options and very walkable. Room is large and nicely decorated but it’s the enormous bathroom w soaking tub plus separate shower that really wows.

Staff was very kind and helpful! We will definitely come back.
