This is a lovely little hotel, conveniently located off one of the seemingly endless cute streets of Bath. Could hardly be closer to the Abbey and Roman Baths, and next door to the fabulous Oak Restaurant.
While normally a pedestrian only street would be ideal, this particular one is very loud. For some reason, both nights I was there (both weekdays) groups of young revellers decided to meet directly outside of the hotel to discuss their next moves, ad nauseam. Not sure what the draw is, but being that it happened both nights, it must be a thing.
The room was small, but comfortable, with a good coffee and tea setup and some nice cookies from the nearby bakery. Staff was friendly. Just be prepared for the noise and the carpeted, very narrow, spiral staircase up to the guest rooms could pose a challenge for some guests.
