The shower needs to be re-positioned so that there is room to stand without spraying water all over the floor; every time we used the shower the bathroom floor was very wet and slippery which is dangerous. The fan in the bathroom is too noisy. The apartment is located 20-30 minutes walk from the historic centre and is in a quiet area.

The good thing about this place is that it is not dead centre where there are loads of tourists. It is some distance away - 10 mins by bus, a good 20-30 min walk to the heart of the city. This is not a modern sleek joint it has character. The place needs some love - it is functional but just lacking it finesse - the garden needs clearing/ cleaning up. There is a mosquito and bed bug problem - do be aware - I did not raise this as I tried contacting them by text for another issue (about the aircon) and had no response and I was not going to mess up my few days - so I just put up with it. Fly screens on the patio door and clearing up the garden could solve the mosquito problem. Bed bugs is another matter I was told there was aircon in the room but there isn’t - it needs it. The front door is very secure but the room window which opens to a Main Street has the worst latch/lock of any kind. There is a washing machine and the bathroom/toilet is adequate and a good size - the kitchen is well stocked. Communication initially was very good but died out after my check in. I travel extensively for both work and pleasure. I use Expedia all the time - this place is nearly there with a little bit more TLC and attention to detail it has the potential to become a crowd favourite.
