Very comfortable with excellent breakfast. Very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

We had a an enjoyable stay at Field View. Maria was very accommodating and helpful. The room was comfortable, the facilities were good and a wide range of food for breakfast. The local pub was a 5 minutes walk away which had a friendly atmosphere. Would definitely come back again to Field View.

Booked at the last minute due to being let down by other accommodation, and it proved a great weekend. A lovely room with a very comfortable bed and great shower, both of which I needed after running a marathon, plus an amazing full English Breakfast. Maria was helpful and accommodating, and made me feel very welcome. There was also a great village pub just a couple of minutes walk away, serving excellent food and ales.

Lovely stay , comfortable room and excellent shower, breakfast was awesome. What more can you want for a business trip… Wifi and a cosy place to chill . Yup they got that. A very welcoming host and really made me feel at home. Room was spotless, very warm with a great shower. Plenty of tea and coffee in room and breakfast was one of the best you will find. Local pub just a few minutes walk does great food and very friendly. Big sports field and free car park opposite makes for easy parking and a place to exercise my dogs. Loved my stay and will return. What a gem of a find. The place is lovely and so are the owners. There is a place to sit and chill, eat or watch tv. The rooms are clean and well ventilated. I have booked to stop for a few more nights.,

This charming and impeccably kept B&B was a little out of our way, however it turned out to be definitely worth the extra milage to get here.

What a lovely stay! The place is beautiful, set in a peaceful village and the accommodation great - perfectly formed, decorated and equipped. Maria does an ah-may-ZING breakfast, which really sets you up for the day ahead! Nothing was too much trouble, and full of useful local info. She's clearly worked really hard at guests being able to stay within the COVID-secure guidelines, lots of thoughtful touches - and has the friendliest cat who I'm now quite attached to :) Wouldn't hesitate to return and very happy to recommend to other potential guests, you won't regret it. Parking available on site but I used the playing fields opposite - loads of room. You have your own entrance/exit separate to the house, everything is self-contained so you don't need to worry about disturbing anyone. Loved my few days here and can't wait to come back :)

Excellent séjour chez Maria. J'y suis resté 2 nuits pour le travail. Du début à la fin, l'hôte à été à mes soins, e me proposait son aide des que possible. J'ai eu le droit à de délicieux petits déjeuner les deux matinee avant le travail. La chambre était parfaitement et bien équipée et toutes les mesures sanitaires étaient respectées. Merci encore pour ce séjour. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Field View is a lovely B&B with the accommodation situated at the rear of the family home. There is a separate entrance into the communal lounge/ dining room with two large rooms upstairs. The double bed room has a high quality en-suite with a large high powered rain fall and shower head shower. The double bed was comfortable but a little hard for my liking so I used the provided fleece blanket under the well fitting sheet and that was perfect for me. I was working nights so sleeping during the day. The curtains are full blackout and there was no noise to disturb my sleep - again perfect for me. Maria was a perfect host offering me breakfast to suit my night working times, the full English breakfast was perfectly cooked with many other options available as well. During these COVID-19 times the sanitisation arrangements are well established with breakfast staggered if both rooms are in use, individual covers for shared furniture, extra sacks in the rooms for swapping towels without anyone having to come into the rooms during your stay (unless absolutely needed). Maria has even provided washing up and cutlery facilities so you can have take-away meals in the dining room or your own room. Maria allowed me to use their outdoor 13amp socket to charge my electric car batteries as my car was parked off the road on their driveway. In summary Field View is a perfectly appointed, perfectly comfortable and perfectly quiet B&B for business or pleasure trips.

As a regular hotel visitor im really pleased to say I cant remember a more enjoyable night away from home. The BnB is superb and has everything i could possibly want. Maria and her family are very welcoming and a pleasure to make the aquantaince of. The breakfast was superb.

Very enjoyable stay. Beds comfortable. Room warm with windows which open easily. Parking (lots) available across the road. Excellent breakfast and amazing hospitality. The B&B is in a small village which is great for reduced traffic noise and pollution.

My recent stay was excellent and both the property and host were extremely pleasant. Warm, quiet, friendly and clean. Nothing was too much trouble. I have already booked there again. Highly recommended.

Stayed here mid September as a close friend's wedding reception was at the village hall across the road - couldn't be more convenient. Booked the family room for the 3 of us. Right from initial booking, communication from Maria was excellent. Very friendly welcome when we arrived. Said we would walk down to the pub for dinner - Maria phoned them (without our request) and organised a table for us. Comfortable room overlooking the garden and great full, delicious breakfast. All on all - lovely B&B with Maria being very friendly. Will book again when visiting the area again. Richard, Christina & James.

Our stay was fantastic. Our host Maria couldn't do enough for us to make our stay comfortable. The accommodation was perfect, great sized room, clean, fresh and bright with the added bonus of a separate living room area downstairs. Her breakfast is one of the best we've had so will definitely be returning. Highly recommend.
