We Were Upgraded To The Newer Condos For My Birthday, Wasn't Told About Extra Guest Or Didn't Have To Sign Anything ....We Ended Up Having Extra Guests An I Was Charged Not A Big Deal I Provided Them My Card To Do So,But The Manager Was Extra Snobby About It As If I Knew...... Then The Last Night It Rained An Our Condo Flooded Ruining My Suitcase I Showed Videos An Absolutely NOTHING Was Done So Make Sure You Dont Visit When It Rains And Know They'll Charge You For Extra People But Not Accommodate For Your Damaged Property Due To There Unfinished Condos A Take Take Situation. Unprofessional And Greedy.

Location and accessibility to everywhere puts the barefoot Peacock or hotel in a excellent position

Hotel is way overpriced for what it actually is . The room was not well maintained. The toilet seat fell off . We asked for extra bedding for the kids they were rude about it . Pool was dirty . Will not be staying here again. For &400.00 UD I expected more .

Clean room

Overall the hotel was nice! The water cooler was a very nice treat to have in the room. The water was nice and cold. The shower in my room was huge! Loved it!!! No hot water, but temp was okay. The only thing that was not good was the noise that the door was making because of the wind. It was knocking all night. Staff was friendly and very attentive!

We had a wonderful stay at Barefoot Caye Caulker! We were thrilled to get upgraded to a top-floor room with a beautiful ocean view. The room itself felt very clean, bright, and modern, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable—we got great sleep every night. The location is absolutely perfect and highly walkable to everything you want to see and do on the island. Our only minor complaints were just a few cosmetic details in the room: the bathroom tub was a bit gray/stained looking, and a couple of the appliances weren’t mounted entirely correctly. Overall, though, the comfort, cleanliness, and amazing view made for a fantastic stay. You can’t beat the location, and we would definitely recommend it!

My room was double booked, i was offered a partial refund for the inconvenience but never received it, the walls were made of paper (you could hear everything from everywhere, the safe did not work, the TV did not work, the housekeeper made up our room but only did half of the room. I would recommend staying at a different place, there are many better options to choose from.

Great location! Easy to walk most of the island. Used the provided bikes one day and was able to explore farther parts of the island. We upgraded to an ocean front room , which had a decent view of the ocean over the building in front. Balcony chairs only had one cushion for 2 chairs. Glass gets super dirty with bird droppings and never cleaned during our stay. No onsite bar as we thought, but there is a convenience store next door and a restaurant across the street, so we just brought our own drinks when hanging out in the pool at the end of the day. Bed was comfortable. Had an issue with a leaking toilet, they added more caulking (I get it, its hard to get supplies to the island, but it was clearly a problem before we arrived based on the amount of caulk already on it). Overall it was good.

Amazing hotel! Ivan was amazing at accommodating our situation and made our stay out of this world. Location is amazing, right in the middle of a lot of restaurants and shops. Very close to the split. Felt very safe and it was very clean as well.

This place has become our ‘go to’ when visiting Caye Caulker. We’ve been visiting the island for 5 years straight. And the last 2 years, we’ve stayed at Barefoot. The staff is perfection and the location is amazing. We will always stay here!

Stayed for 2 nights first time in Caye Caulker would definitely stay again loved the view and the pool.

It was a nice weekend stay however I wish there was black out curtains cause all the light during the nighttime was in the room.

The air-conditioning was phenomenal. We took frequent rests throughout our days when we stayed on the island to soak in some AC. The staff was very friendly. We did have some plumbing issues and had we spoken up sooner, I think it would’ve been taken care of sooner, but we just didn’t know that it wasn’t supposed to be that way. Once we finally did say something the issue was resolved immediately. Pool was wonderful and the hotel is conveniently located to everything. My only complaint would be that as we were exhausted from long days sometimes especially on Friday and Saturday, the nightlife on the main street there goes a little late, but otherwise our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable had a fridge and a water cooler and a TV and all the things that we needed.
