The room that we were assigned was on the third floor, up 32 stairs. I was traveling with my 74 year old Dad, who has hip displacement. The manager was unsympathetic, although we were scheduled to be there for 7 days. After Expedia inquired about my check in experience online, Expedia contacted the manager unbeknownst to me. The next day, I was accused and berated by the manager for submitting a nasty review of his property, when I did not. I felt extremely uncomfortable going in the office after that to even get the continental breafast offered. I feel like he wanted us to leave the property.
We had no water dispenser in the room, like the other rooms. We had one plug that we could use and that was the explanation for no water dispenser. I feel like we had the worst room in the whole place. The manager kept repeating "that's the room that YOU booked on Expedia" in a condescending manner. In addition, the manager was very upset that Expedia contacted him in an effort to help us get off of that third floor; which was the reason we were never moved from that room. I know that I booked a room on the first floor, but we were denied. I have NEVER felt disrespected like that in any hotel that I have ever stayed in. We were extremely disappointed.
