This was a great stay! Super communicative staff made it easy to arrange transfer to and from train station. Breakfast was AMAZING and so was their dinner. Hotel was top notch and the spa was incredible, easy access and very clean. We will be back!

Very nice hotel! Location was a little far, but they have a shuffle that will even deliver your luggage to the train. Beautiful resort, inside and out.

Enjoyed our stay a lot

My stay at Hotel Hemezius was such a beautiful and pleasant experience. My husband and I stayed for his birthday and although only for 2 nights, it was an amazing experience. The view of the Matterhorn from our room was incredible! The staff were friendly and easily reachable. They even worked with me via email to decorate our room as a surprise for my husband just the way I imagined. The hotel restaurant was excellent, we had breakfast and dinner there and it was so delicious. The Airport shuttle was reliable and the Red Line bus was so convenient to get around the city. A beautiful experience indeed.

The hotel is a gem in Zermatt. We had a wonderful room and it’s a little ways from the center of town in a quiet section with a perfect view of the Matterhorn. It’s great for families and the staff is very friendly! We will be back.

Wer den Focus auf das Matterhorn legt und es direkt vor sich haben will ist hier genau richtig. Ansonsten sehr weit weg vom Dorfzentrum mit den vielen Restaurants und Geschäften. Ebenso grosse Entfernung zu den verschiedenen Bahnen. Wer schlecht zu Fuss ist braucht ein Taxi dieses kostet pro Weg ins Dorf ca. 22.- CHF.

A family run hotel with terrific views of the Matterhorn. Electric shuttle picked us up and dropped us off at the train station on arrival/departure. A free local bus allowed access to downtown but service ended at about 7:30PM and the walk back would be pretty uphill and take half an hour. Alternatively taxis are available but we were told they can be quite expensive. We were able to ski out and ski most of the way back. Beginner skiers would struggle to do so. The hotel has a restaurant and there are a couple others you can walk to from the hotel. The room was modern but quite small. It had a coffee/tea service which was nice. The balcony had a Matterhorn view. We booked our stay to include the morning breakfast. I would recommend this as there aren't a lot of nearby alternatives. The breakfast buffet offered a nice selection of options and the staff was very nice. There is a ski storage room to safely leave your gear over night. There is a spa building but we only did a single hot tub which we found to be a bit lukewarm. You can book spa treatments and massages, but we didn't do any so I can't speak to the quality or price. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future.
