First class hotel, the staff are phenomenal, the room was more than we could wish for! Do yourself a favour and stay here!

I recently stayed at this hotel and was quite disappointed. The room was overpriced for its small size and felt cramped, while the toilet was uncomfortable. The hotel had promised me a twin bed room, but they didn’t provide it when I checked in. There was no hot water kettle, and the absence of a bathtub was a letdown. The room itself was dark and uninviting, and it was also noisy at night due to people in the street outside my window. Additionally, taxis couldn't park outside, forcing me to carry my luggage and walk about 200 meters to the entrance. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel due to its lack of comfort and accessibility.

hard for cars to reach hotel

The Mercer took great care of us and the breakfast was fantastic. The location is unbeatable for exploring old Barcelona as you step out the front door into the shops and narrow winding streets and alleys which give Barcelona its charm. Loved our stay.

Stayed for two nights pre-cruise. This was a lovely small hotel right in the middle of the Cathedral Quarter. We stayed in a second floor room overlooking the internal courtyard

I loved the building and the staff. They couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. My only issue is with the room lighting - it’s just too dark.

Perfect location. Historical ambience. Clean. Quiet.

Beautiful historic hotel in a central location. Separate toilet and shower room. Safety box did not work the whole time even though we complained about it. Ok minibar as it emptied the contents for our own food. Nespresso was found in the room but no milk of any kind. It should have always been ordered separately from room service. Door poor quality, all sounds could be heard from the corridor into the room at night and in the morning. Clean and good service. Breakfast disappointing: lots of sweet buns, pies, cheeses, cereals, yogurt and limited options to order from the list, unless you want to pay extra. No vegetables or root vegetables available. A bowl of berries and fruit was included in the breakfast. Difficult to find something to eat for people who do not eat eggs, salmon or red meat such as Iberico.

Wonderful Concierge service!! Beautiful vibe boutique hotel. Excellent check-in and escort from drop-off to hotel. You can’t reach the front by car, so one of the concierge will meet you! Only disappointment was service at breakfast. I was alone and ignored. Otherwise, excellent
