Gorgeous location and very convenient to Sintra

Wonderful desks and breakfast staff. Very helpful and kind.

Everything was great. The location was walkable to all attractions and the staff and breakfast were wonderful. Bed and bedding were good. The only thing to understand before booking is that it’s a charming converted mansion so sound proofing may not be the best and some rooms might feel a bit tight, especially if you’re a larger person.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Friendly, helpful and comfortable

The guest reception person was very friendly & informative. Room was clean & pleasant. Breakfast was good. Easy walk into town. Parking on site was included, however, we arrived before check in time & did not have the code to access the parking lot. We had to find parking elsewhere until we could check in & driving/parking in Sinatra is not easy! We did not drive anywhere once we parked at the B&B. Took the Hop On/Off bus instead.

Acomodação em uma mansão antiga, muito bonita e bem decorada, a equipe muito simpática e prestativa, nos emprestaram um ferro de passar roupas que achamos muito bom, café da manhã delicioso. A única observação é que no quarto em que ficamos não tinha ar condicionado e estavamos com um dia de temperaturas mais elevadas, além disso, nosso quarto era voltado para os fundos da propriedade e o vizinho tinha galos que cantaram na madrugada mas como as janelas eram de vidros duplos atenuou bem o barulho..

A estada permitiu uma experência diferente num ambiente mais clássico, que remete ao início do século passado. A Quinta fica no caminho de uma daquelas ruelas portuguesas, a sacada do quarto leva a uma vista do jardim e sua fonte, tudo com muito verde ao redor. Estacionamento fica aos fundos, com acesso por uma longa escada. O café da manhã é servido num ambiente bem próximo a natureza, tornando agradável o momento.

I'm sure if you stayed in the main house, you might have a different experience from us. We stayed in a bungalow and it was dire. Basically like staying at camp and not a good one. Perhaps we had their worst room, but the issues were really stupid, lazy stuff. There is a little deck up to the entrance - a board right is the center had clearly broken, instead of replacing it, they have screwed in another board on top creating a trip hazard or you could rip the soles of your feet on the exposed screws. One whole side of the bungalow is all windows the center window has a blind which was broken, so they nailed it is place, but they couldn't get that right and hung it at an angle leaving the window exposed. The remaining windows where covered with curtains that didn't close properly. The toilet seat is loose, which any house cleaner who cleaned the toilet would know. There is mold around the base of the shower and on shower hose. The furniture was basic and tired. Definitely not what we expected based on the pictures or reviews. Breakfast wasn't much to right home about. The house itself and the grounds look lovely, location is ideal, close to everything. Based on managing expectations, this is the worst experience we have had in a long time.
