Very nice service and clean room.

Very friendly staff, very clean room, and very easy to navigate the hotel. The balcony was an added touch that was appreciated. Would stay again!

Unfortunately, we had a very negative experience with this hotel in Zermatt. We had two fully paid reservations, but during our trip to Switzerland we lost our passports — a serious, unexpected situation completely beyond our control, supported by official documents from the police, SBB, and the Brazilian Consulate. We were forced to interrupt our trip and travel immediately to Zurich to resolve the emergency, which made it impossible for us to arrive at the hotel. The hotel was informed as soon as everything happened. Even so, it refused any kind of refund, credit, or alternative solution, despite all the documentation provided. Hotels.com was also contacted and, unfortunately, did not offer any resolution. I understand cancellation policies, but I expected at least empathy and common sense in the face of a clearly documented force majeure situation. I am leaving this review so that other travelers are aware of how the hotel handles real emergency situations. A great disappointment.

Great staff! Comfortable rooms. Nice & affordable breakfast. Super close to the slopes. About a 5 minute walk to the gondola. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Mein Aufenthalt im Hotel Adonis war ausgezeichnet. Das Ambiente war sehr "heimelig" und einladend und das Angebot überaus zufriedenstellend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aüsserst zuvorkommend. Ich empfehle das Hotel Adonis wärmstens weiter, bedanke mich für diesen tollen Aufenthalt und freue mich aufs nächste mal.

Rooms are small but had what we needed. It is easy to hear others in their rooms, but most are there for the outdoors, so it was quiet after 9 pm. The optional breakfast buffet for 16 CF was quite good with a worker there keeping everything refilled and clean. There was an open kitchen downstairs for anyone staying to use. It was well equipped and had an eating area. Of note: they are serious about NO food in the rooms. Not even tea!! There must have been problems to have such serious rules. I did have tea without issue, but I took my teacup back to the kitchen as instructed. This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the train, but taxis are available. Zermatt does not allow cars, so expect to walk, and dodge out of the way of fast bikes and electric taxis.

The location of the property is great! It’s very close to the train station, friendly staff and very comfortable bed. I would go back to this place given the opportunity and would recommend to my friends and family.

Building is falling apart. Bathroom had plaster molding and falling off the wall. Bathroom floor had chipped and cracked tiles. Towels were old ( could buy nicer towels at a second hand store) . No coffee maker , rude female front desk staff. Horrible place !!!!

1人で最上階の屋根裏部屋に２泊しました。 小さなホテルで施設も古めですが清潔に保たれていて、スタッフの方々もフレンドリーで居心地の良い滞在でした。再びツェルマットに来る事があれば利用したいと思います。

Walking around was easy to go in ether direction

This hotel was in a great location and the room was very nice. It was a little hot with no A/C, but other than that, no complaints. The breakfast was very good.

When checking in we were told the room we reserved with three beds should have been reserved for three people which we were unaware of when booking it (we reserved for 2). So after the person got done laughing at us for this mistake (he later apologized) we agreed to pay an additional $150 US dollars. We paid the amount, received our keys and settled into our rooms. The next morning when going out for the day, another employee stopped us saying we need to pay even more then what was agreed upon, and demanded more money. We indicated we already paid the extra and would not pay more the second time. That evening they stopped us again and said what we were doing was illegal unless we paid more. This made absolutely no sense but we then had to pay them a third time another $203. While we stayed at numerous hotels on our trip through Switzerland and Germany, this was by far the worst experience we had. For sub-par rooms having to pay them three times and deal with angry staff almost ruined our experience traveling to what was otherwise a great town.
