Literie sans plus voir un peu ferme … très grande chambre un peu vieillotte… mais gros bémol c’est l’accès en voiture le secteur est compliqué également pour le parking

We had a 3 night stay and booked 2 rooms - 1 for my wife and I, and another for our 2 teenage boys. The Hotel as expected had a nice old world feel to it and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good, continuously replenished and offered plenty of choice. The pool was a welcome benefit given the heat of the August sun. Alas problems with the showers in both rooms and the poor service to get them repaired is what leaves us underwhelmed by our stay. We arrived late on the first night and the next morning found our shower to be completely non-functional. The shower in the boys room, worked but would not stay in place so had to be held in your hand while you showered. The first morning we all had to endure this ritual. We reported the issues to reception that morning. On our return in the late afternoon, no action had been taken and we again reported it before leaving for dinner. Arriving back we found that the problems still not had been addressed and we made do with the broken fixture in the boy's room once more. The issues were finally resolved only after our second day. Faults happen and repairs are a common thing in hotels, however it was the slowness to respond, the fact that we received no acknowldgement of the delays or an apology on leaving that really spoiled this stay for us. Unfortunately providing 2 rooms in poor state of repair then taking 2 days to react and repair is not what one would expect from what claims to be a 4 star hotel.

Ein Grand Hotel, was die besten Zeiten leider schon hinter sich gebracht hat. Die Einrichtung ist sichtlich verwohnt und auch nicht mehr Zeitgemäß. Leider war auch das Personal an der Rezeption eher unfreundlich und schon Fast genervt wenn man mit einem Anliegen kam. insoweit würde ich dieses Hotel nicht mehr buchen. Frühstück war ok aber da hatte ich mir von einem 4 Sterne Haus besseres erwartet-.Alles in allem leider enttäuschend.

Grand Hotel di Lecce er et eldre 4stjerners hotell. Det har et visst luksuspreg, særlig i inngangsparti, lobby og flere salonger, samtidig som det har noe litt gammelmodig over seg. For meg var plasseringen perfekt. Jeg kom og reiste med tog og var på flere dagsturer under mitt 6 netters opphold. To minutter å gå til toget og ett minutt til lokalbuss. På få minutter når en også det fascinerende og flotte sentrum av gamlebyen. Innholdsrik og god frokost som kan inntas inne eller ute, under parasoller og store, flotte tre. Godt renhold. Jeg vil gjerne tilbake!

Vakkert hotell, veldig sentralt, men samtidig rolig område, nydelig basseng område, hyggelig betjening. Anbefales

Ett perfekt hotell för några dagars vistelse i Lecce.

This is not a Grand hotel in the sense of the Danieli or Excelsior, however, that is probably because they choose not to have a restaurant, even though they put out a sumptuous breakfast and have a commercial kitchen and plenty of staff. Our room had filthy old green carpeting, but we noticed in the long hallway that some rooms have modern wood flooring, which is much more sanitary I don't know why we weren't given the upgrade since we are hotel gold members. The only other issue was the parking which we tried to reserve well in advance, but was unavailable, which was disappointing since we have a brand new Mercedes-Benz . The staff was very pleasant and the bathroom was spacious and had the best shower of our trip. Overall, it was good value for the money and it's probably one of the better hotels in Lecce.

El personal en la recepción muy atento y amable. El hotel está en renovación y los pasillos son muy largos y oscuros, los muebles de las habitaciones son muy lindos y antiguos, combinan muy bien con el lugar. La alberca es amplia y los jardines agradables para pasar la tarde. La alfombra d ella habitación no estaba en excelente estado.

A beautiful old hotel with big rooms and a very good location. Nice and friendly staff and a perfect breakfast. We had a very good time and would love to come back.

Excellent hotel. Right by the railway station but only about five/six minutes’ walk to the Centro Storico. Very quiet. Big and spacious rooms. Staff very polite and helpful. Big selection for breakfast. Pool and seating area outside ideal for a swim or just to sit and read. Absolutely recommended.

Déception pour cet hôtel avec fort potentiel, proche de la ville et avec un parking (à réserver). Le cadre est certes vieillissant mais cet hôtel manque d’un réel entretien. Les moquettes sont tachées et très sales dans les parties communes, la robinetterie fonctionne mal et éviers bouchées et l’odeur dans la salle de bain est infecte. La climatisation ne fonctionne pas et le wifi de manière discontinue. Le petit déjeuner est correct et le personnel du petit déjeuner souriant. L’accueil est vraiment médiocre avec un réel manque d’accueil et d’empathie. On ne nous a même pas demandé comment était notre séjour au moment du check out ! Un comble pour une réception…. Nous ne reviendrons pas dans cet établissement.
