Amazing views. Rooms are somewhat dated. Staff was very kind. Good breakfast as well

Hotel balcony has great views of the marina where you can watch bald eagles and other birds. Restaurant is good for breakfast.

Check-in was quick, water view was wonderfulcheckout was pleasant asked how our stay was, everything was clean and quiet. Enjoyed the fireworks as well !

Property was clean, quiet and well kept. Remodel on front entry was a bit disruptive.

The staff were fantastic….very helpful, happily accommodating requests we had. Property is older and dated but very clean with bathroom renos done in recent years. Larger than standard hotel room fridge was a bonus with access to a large deep freeze available even in early morning hours were an added bonus. Location by marina and proximity to town with resident eagles perching on the marina gazebo a plus.

Greeting upon arrival was atypical for a hotel, in that there was not a welcome or how was your trip, or anything. Construction was going on and our room was directly affected. I was told they would stop for the day but they didn't so had to go down and ask for it to stop, which after a conversation it did. The restaurant has luke warm reviews online and when we went in, I can see why. Overall presentation is lacking. We went to Sparkys Sports Bar instead. Door on unit was very hard to open and when we mentioned it, they said all the doors were that way. To be honest, Port Hardy as a town is run down and this hotel may be one of the better of few options. At least there is a nice view and it is convenient for the ferry 10 min away.

It’s location

It's nice that it's on the water. But room was in need of furniture replacement, paint, light not working, Kleenex box empty.

Pulled into the property and wanted to leave right away. The exterior looks like it is falling apart. Yes, they are doing renovations that are long long over due but it is in rough shape. The woman checking us in after a six hour drive was quite unfriendly and made mistakes. She overcharged me initially and had to issue me a refund and then do the charge again. She sent us to the third floor with keys that didn’t work. Had to come all the way back and she didn’t even apologize. Finally got into a hot room. Went back downstairs to ask about the AC and she responds there is none. Open the slider. To which I respond the slider has no screen and the birds will fly in and she just shrugged her shoulders. Again no apologies. Very rude. Do not stay here. Looks like a newer property next door. Try that.

Good value for the money

Very nice and peaceful view. Calm and serene with lots of wildlife, seals, eagles, seagulls, cranes. Very relaxing Will stay here again. Decent price for the room
