Everything was spotless everyone was very nice and friendly

My experience at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica was very disappointing. On my first night, my room wasn’t properly prepared—neither the AC nor the fan were working. Maintenance had to come fix it, which caused me to miss dinner with my family. Later in the stay, a fight broke out in the club. I tried calling security, but no one answered. I eventually had to call the hotel directly because no one was picking up the phone. Overall, I did not have a great experience. I spoke to management and was told the issues would be addressed, but the lack of follow-through left me even more dissatisfied.

Great staff

Hotel was beautiful, clean and food was great. Staff was not wonderful and VIP (star class) was a waste of money. Butler only helped with reservations for dinner other than that didn’t see or hear from him.

The property was clean but the food was horrible

This resort was nice! VIP treatment as soon as you walk in. Even more vip treatment if you book through Expedia! Very clean, very modern and updated. Beds are very comfortable. Shower is its own room with a bench! The buffet area had tons to choose from and the restaurants were great too, but you have to book early. The only down side was waiting for a shuttle to get to the pool and lobby, and if you order room service make sure your food is fully cooked! I would definitely stay again!

This is an absolutely beautiful place with breathtaking views all over. The staff es very attentive and polite, they go above and beyond to make feel welcome and comfortable. The food and drinks are good. The room is amazing, super big and comfortable. We reserved a private room at the SunSet restaurant for my birthday and it was awesome! Delicious food and the staff it’s just great. This is by far one of the best stays we’ve had. A great experience and we will definitely come back. Thank you Planet Hollywood for making our time so special.

The food was underwhelming.

Great overall experience. Service was outstanding. Everyone went out their way to make my stay enjoyable. Food was top tier. Usually all inclusive resort buffet food isn’t that good. Planet Hollywood Costa Rica 🇨🇷 buffets were really good. Food was good at the restaurants as well. Like all resorts I have visited lately, the alcohol was watered down. Star class alcohol wasn’t much of an upgrade in my book. Night life was good also (Shows and night club). 2 swim up bars at the pool. Hotel needs to invest in new towels and cushions for pool lounge chairs. Definitely will return in the future.

Sinceramente no volvería, esta muy lleno, para todo hay q hacer fila, restaurantes nunca tienen disponibilidad hay q apartar casi q uno o dos días antes. Los sitios comunes están muy llenos lo q hace q el servicio sea de baja calidad y poca higiene( mas q todo el área de piscinas bares/Rest hamburguesas).Por ratos se acaban las toallas de piscina. Cosas buenas el room service es excelente y los tragos en el bar del segundo piso.

La verdad es la tercera vez que voy y me llevo un sin sabor un poco insatisfecha el hotel a bajado la categoría el servicio el restaurante buffet poca variedad y cantidad cuando llegábamos se habían acabado cosas y íbamos prácticamente media hora de la apertura del bufete desayuno cuando llegue no había pinto espere 15 minutos para que volvieran a poner luego no había queso me dijeron que ya me traían y después de 10 minutos me dijeron que solo lo que había ahí queso amarillo para el desayuno fatal filas eternas el personal no era atento a refiliar la comida los carritos duraban hasta media hora en llegar a la piscina o el traslado costaba casi perdemos una reserva de un restaurante a la carga xq el carrito nos llevo por todo lado menos a dónde ocupabamos ir la habitación no tenía lo de siempre ni batas ni pantuflas ni artículos de uso personal que siempre ponen ni los snacks, la cafetería no tenía mucha variedad está vez si cambio mucho

Hate the fact that star class “VIP” was treated like they where better then us by getting serve faster get reservation faster and also I was not even offer that service and we paid a lot of money to stayed there and was treated like 2 class we did have good employees that went out of there way to make us feel welcome and good Wendy from the food buffet and Nestor the bartender from the pool.

I had read so many mixed reviews of this property, but I found it amazing. The staff was always very accommodating, nice and wanted to help you however they could. I traveled as a solo female traveler, and I felt very safe, and meet others throughout the property that made my stay awesome and have found some friends to travel with in the future. I will definitely travel in the"low", "rainy"season again, as it was perfect. It literally only rained two days, in the afternoon, for about an hour. I also do not recommend Star class as I was able to do everything I needed on my own, and saved money. Highly recommend this property.
