Room service did not.love to expectation. Food was similar to that of a schools cafeteria.

The resort has excellent service -.very friendly and courteous staff, food at the buffet had nice variety and the a la carte restaurants were top-notch, last but not least the entertainment was superb. We went as a family, and had a wonderful time!

we liked that most amenities were a short walk. it too bad there a small basket court. a little more shade (palm trees) down the main road and stairs upward. it would have made the walk down and up the hill more pleasant.

I had a great time and experience I appreciate all the staff making the effort to learn English to speak to the guests. Thank you again.

Everything was really good with the exception of a few bartenders on the pool on Tuesday around 6pm that were very rude and want it to close early and ended disappearing and another one on Wednesday around 8pm at the bar outside the main restaurants on the 3rd floor that was rude too. Overall it was really good; we manage with Leslie's help to find reservations on both restaurants that we wanted and both were amazing. The beach is not as good as the other ones in the area that's why is not shown on the pictures. But if you are looking to rest and privacy is the best place.

Beautiful property and friendly staff. The lobby espresso martini with smoked beans was my favorite! All of the lobby bartenders are incredible and make excellent drinks. The coffee shop was excellent. Food was fair. Nothing special, but it did the trick. Would love to see a late night dining option. On site car rental was convenient and much cheaper than expected.

Accommodation and “Star Class” Experience I reserved a “Star Class” package, expecting an elevated level of service and amenities. Regrettably, this distinction was not reflected in my stay. Although the resort was not operating at peak capacity, I found that room upgrades, priority check-in, and personalized touches—hallmarks of a premium experience—were largely absent. The décor and furnishings were modern and well maintained, but the overall service level fell short of the “star treatment” advertised. Dining and Service Efficiency Across the resort’s on-site restaurants and poolside bars, service delays were frequent. On multiple occasions, I waited over an hour for meal delivery despite moderate guest volume. Additionally, the quality of the cuisine often failed to meet expectations: dishes arrived lukewarm, and presentation lacked consistency. While the menus featured a diverse selection of international and local specialties, the execution did not match the resort’s upscale branding. Tipping Culture and Guest Interaction As a Costa Rican resident, I adhere to local customs—which do not generally include mandatory tipping—yet I observed service staff directing greater attention and faster service to other guests who appeared more likely to tip. This discrepancy was particularly noticeable at the pool bar: despite placing identical orders, requests from some guests were fulfilled noticeably faster. Well the biggest difference staying at this Planet Hollywood hotel was having to completely get around in a shuttle! It was inconvenient having separate buildings compared to one hotel where you can just take an elevator upstairs to your room! This was built on hills so you couldn't even walk though I did see people walking which make me think they were idiots!

Property was clean, maintenance is done regularly. The layout is nice. There are a lot of hills but the area in and around the resort was kept in excellent condition. I really like the hardscape they have around the pool area.

My stay at the hotel started very Rocky but then I spoke with the manager and everybody was ridiculously nice and worked hard to fix all the issues. The hospitality and customer service was top-notch and definitely five stars. Everybody is also very friendly and professional simultaneously and they really do care about the people staying at the hotel. Mercedes was ridiculously sweet and caring, Cristian the star class manager was kind and on point all the time; he figured out ways to make things better and thought of solutions all the time--thank you so much!!! Javier at the buffet was so nice and helpful! Danny the personal agent was always running up and down to solve everyone's issues, reservations and accommodations. And somehow always kept composure. The drivers of the trollies were great too. The food was tasty and the variety was great! Delicious buffet! And good dinning options. Several pools as options and a beautiful spa. The masseuse was also strong and gave great massages. The entire staff is 5 stars! Thank you. Pura vida!

Overall 10/10, staff was amazing

our room was extremely noisy. Hallway echoed ALL noises heard people talking, people walking in room above us.

Nice atmosphere but the staff is not friendly. Not very accommodating. My personal assistant was great though. Thank you Justin for trying to make this experience great!

Excellent resort !!!Everything at the resort is 5 Star. From the time you check in till the time you check out you will find no complaints.The resort has the best staff everyone of them were so nice and helpful In wanting you to have the best stay of your life .we will definitely be coming back in the future.
