I recently stayed at Harbour House Hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake and had a mixed experience. The standout aspect of my stay was definitely the staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help, which made me feel well taken care of throughout my visit. The hotel itself was mostly clean and tidy, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. However, for the price paid, I expected a bit more in terms of amenities and overall value. While there was nothing particularly wrong with the property, the cost felt difficult to justify compared to what was included with the stay. Overall, it's a decent hotel with excellent staff, but the value for money left me questioning whether I would choose to stay here again.

Perfect location for the Shaw Festival. We were able to walk to all the theatres. Lovely property.

This was by far the best NOTL hotel I've stayed at. From the moment we walked in we were 'family ' The room was lovely, fireplace in the room, also windows that we could actu ally open!

Room was clean, staff is great. A/C is dodgy. They addressed A/C problems immediately, but not quite right for the rest of the stay

We had a 5-night stay at this property. It is charming and the staff was very helpful. The fireplace in the room was a nice touch and we enjoyed it a few evenings. The breakfast was also nice and to have table service and a hot breakfast was welcomed. My only suggestions would be to provide down pillows as the bamboo ones were too firm and created neck strain and the regular pillows were quite lumpy. I would also recommend updating the lighting in the room and bathroom or replace the bulbs with a brighter higher watt bulb as the room and bathroom were dark, even with the lights on. One final recommendation would be to expand parking for overnight guests as it was challenging each evening to find available parking. Street parking was always available; however, that came with a charge. One evening, a staff member agreed to move their vehicle so that we could park and while we greatly appreciated that, I think there's an opportunity here to improve things. Enjoyed the stay overall.

This hotel is well located, simple, has excellent service and tasteful, thoughtful rooms. There are a lot of interesting prints and sculptures. The staff is first class.

This hotel was a wonderful surprise. Clean, quaint and accomodating. Cocktail hour, shuttle, wonderful breakfast, free parking, friendly staff and excellent location. I highly recommend.

Nice linens. GREAT mattress. Clean enough, but still little stray items missed by housekeeping. Drawers in the small dresser didn’t open properly. Some marred walls. Bathroom vanity has seen better days.

This boutique hotel is charming. It's in a quiet part of NOTL and yet close enough to walk to everything. We appreciated the complimentary glass of wine in the evening and the nice breakfast in the morning. The room was spacious and comfortable. We will definitely come back for another stay.

Everything was as expected except: The mattress was so hard I was in pain all night and contemplated leaving early because of it.

I have stayed at Harbour House many times but hadn’t been there for a few years. Staff were amazing and the grounds were well maintained. The only thing I noticed is that the rooms are looking a little’tired’; not the high standard I came to associate with the hotel. Our bathroom sink was cracked and the furniture had many gouges. A refresh is needed
