Very nice place in a quite nice and calm environment. A convenient accommodation for people visiting the Plitvice lakes. There's a Plodine supermarket a few hundred meters away. Minimalist kitchen.

House Rustico is a lovely collection of rooms and apartments nestled in a peaceful wooded area. The rooms were large and pleasant. My only interaction with staff was at the restaurant associated with the accommodations where as a solo traveler, I got the minimum amount of service.

Comfortable beds, good shower, kettle and fridge in room, easy parking on site, lovely quiet location, and the welcome drinks were a lovely gesture. Good food and good service at the associated Bistro a short drive away. 15 min drive to Plitvice.

We were very happy with our stay. Every detail was taken care of and the owner offered some great ideas for our visit. We also enjoyed some fantastic meals at the restaurant. Highly recommend!!!!

We were met at Bistro Vila Velebita, by Helena who welcomed us and escorted us to our room at House Rustico. The room looked as it was shown in the photographs. Things were clean, fresh smelling ( not perfumed). The bed was firm and comfortable. There were both fat fluffy pillows and flatter ones, so everyone was happy. Helena showed us all the amenities and arranged to meet us at the restaurant the following morning to help us plan our itinerary for the next day at the lakes. She let us know where to be at certain times so the sun would show off the lakes to their best advantage. We had a wonderful time thanks to our hosts.

Everything about our stay and our experience at the restaurant exceeded every expectation. A genuine warmth and friendliness was found in every staff member. These folk really care about what they are doing, and it shows in everything they do. We felt like family and would return there any given chance. Highly recommend.

Great place close to Plitvice Lakes, very clean, comfortable bed, minutes to restaurant. Very good value. Super quiet surroundings.

Conveniently located to the National Park.The room was basic but very clean. Very comfortable bed. Updated nice bathroom. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. They also have a restaurant 500 m away. We had breakfast there which was good and we were served in such a warm and friendly way, it was very delightful. Would stay here again and definitely would try their dinner menu next time after we learned that they raise their own animals for the restaurant.

This was the perfect tree lined cabin retreat. We stayed here for 6 nights during our time exploring Plitvice Lakes National Park. This place felt peaceful and like a step back in time. Wood fired BBQ, hammocks and outdoor seating areas were nice. Pet friendly for our little pup. Everything was clean and well maintained. You need a vehicle here, same as other places in the area. I’d stay again and highly recommend!

We love the rustic charm of this quality cottage. It was perfect for our visit, warm and clean, charming! The restaurant is also very delicious, we had breakfast and dinner with them daily! We will be back !

Habitación muy amplia, con frigorífico y hervidor. Echamos en falta una zona para cocinar, por lo que vimos en las fotos parecía que iba a haber. Había vajilla y aunque no había pila para fregar, el servicio te pone nuevos al día siguiente si pides que hagan la habitación. Todo limpio, camas grandes. Calefacción puesta para nuestra llegada, un detalle agradable.

Had a great stay! Check in was down the road at their restaurant but easy. Room was basic and met our needs. Convenient and scenic setting.

We enjoyed our one night, easy to find, comfortable and clean. Very pretty. Easy drive to park entrance. We enjoyed our dinner at the associated restaurant. Very friendly staff.

We had a great stay at House Rustico. It is about a 15-20 mins drive away to Plitvice national park, and it is located in a nice little town near a forest. The room is big, clean and is well equipped. Vila Velebita is at the other side of the small town, and is the place where you have to collect the keys to your rooms. Vila Velebita is also a great option for dinner and breakfast, it offers traditional cuisine and has a nice atmosphere with traditional Croatian music. When we stayed in house Rustico there was a bear in the surrounding forest that made quite some noise during the night. It was also an interesting experience to walk back from Vila Velebita in the dark to house Rustico while we saw garbage containers overturned and a (fresh) drool trail of the bear. This is of course not the hotel's fault, but keep in mind that the surroundings contain wild life. We stayed in the hotel during September in which bears enter hyperphagia (feeding frenzy) so that explains the bear's behavior.
