It’s super safe. There’s breakfast included. It’s not the same as most hotels as it’s a student residence but we will definitely choose this place again next time we are attending an event near Calgary downtown.

Its good for students.No AC and the room got quite hot.The bed was too high.Parking garage was far away.So paid for the parking to be close by.

This place was ideal for my stampede weekend. Not too far from downtown, friendly staff and have all the amenities I needed. Most importantly the price was better than other hotels.

We stayed during Stampede. The rooms had cement floors and dingy lighting. They allow 1 car to park across campus per suite and do not allow guests to rent out things like ping pong paddles for the game rooms, etc. or have any kitchen items available to use the kitchenette. I would likely not stay here again, even to save money.

Very hot with no temperature control, need to bring a fan.

I feel like I was catfished. Property is nothing like the photos. Sure it’s serviceable, feels safe and inexpensive comparatively for the area. You get free continental breakfast too including hot eggs so there’s that. But don’t assume it’s like a hotel. It’s a dorm room. Concrete floors, squeaky spring mattress high off the floor, no coffee maker or tv (the ad doesn’t say it’s included but don’t assume like I did), it’s loud, it’s hot and there’s no fan. If you know what you are getting I think it’s a decent place to crash. Just wish they were a little more transparent with what you were getting so you’re not disappointed.

We were in Calgary for the Stampede and this location was very close to transit. It was easy to get around. The breakfast in the morning was great. There was a kitchen in the room but you must remember that it is not stocked with anything including dishes. I don't believe there is air conditioning and we had to close our window as there was a very noisy building next to us. I think it was a type of power station/maintenance building for SAIT. The staff were very helpful and were able to hold our luggage in a secure room after discharge for us to pick up later in the day. I would stay here again.

Overall the stay was good. The staff was nice, room was clean, big, and bright, and location is great. Although, the beds are super hard and uncomfortable, the outlets were hit or miss for charging speed, and the entire stay our fridge was broken and someone didn’t come to fix it until 9:00 am the day we were check out so that was really frustrating. Overall, the room did mostly what it needed for.

Perfect choice for the Calgary Great Stampede. Basic student accomodation - but actually ideal if you just need a bed for the night. The room was hot, no TV and basic breakfast (oats, egg, cereal, bagels, toast and fruit). The room had a bathroom, kitchen and massive fridge freezer.

Breakfast was great and convenient. Staff were helpful. Location was great. Room had kitchen but no amenities in it so kind of useless. Fridge very noisy. Bedrooms and bathroom was good.

My husband and I are 71 & 67, we couldn’t find anywhere else to stay for the Stampede. Someone recommended, we thought ok. But when the dorm didn’t shut down till well after 2 am and started back up by 6 am, not good!! I was able to get a refund and did find another motel closer to the Stampede!!

The staff was great, friendly and helpful, room was clean, and with a small kitchen it is great for a few days stay. And the campus is perfectly located 5 minutes away from the city transport.

Everything offered and used was and up to date and very much tidy and clean. Great job for the staff and maintenance crew, I would definitely recommend and book again thanks Sincerely Ronald...

Really scammy experience, with a $25 charge per card and no written warnings in the contract if you don’t return them. Breakfast was also quite stingy, with a one yogurt per person rule, and horrible powdered eggs, no side potato or meat. The beds were also very uncomfortable, and the rooms had very cold and dirty concrete floors. It’s also currently under renovation with 2/4 elevators under construction which caused many delays and dirt and dust from the construction.

It’s a collage dorm.. it was exactly as expected.

The room was dusty, shoddy and hot (no thermostat), and the bed was uncomfortable. Worse, they had NO spare pillows! The breakfast of powdered eggs was very bland, and no meat was served with it.

Not staying here again. If you arrive late after a flight, be prepared to wait. I had to stand outside for quite a while because no one was at the front desk. I called several times, but it seemed the calls weren't being forwarded to the staff member on duty. In the end, I had to call security just to get into the building, and it was already around 1:30 am. The biggest issue was the lack of hot water in my room. I reported it to the front desk, and they said maintenance would come by. I was out all day, but when I returned ar 9pm, I was told no one had even checked the room. I asked if I could use another room just to take a hot shower, but the front desk agent told me she used to live in the building and that the water system is "just like that", apparently, you have to let the water run for about 20 minutes before it gets hot. The waste of water is crazy! The laundry system is also inconvenient. Although a wash costs only $2, you can't simply pay for one load. You have to load a minimum of $10 onto a laundry card, then return the card to the front desk afterward. There should be a much simpler payment option.

Amazing staff, nice cheap place to stay, however the vents were fuzzy.

We recently stayed here as a family with a young toddler for a short vacation trip. The location is absolutely fantastic—very close to the C-Train, North Hill Mall for grocery shopping, and transit options. The rooms are clean, practical, and having access to a kitchen space was incredibly helpful for preparing our own homemade meals. The staff were also very welcoming and friendly. The only downside was the shower water. We had very little hot water during our stay, which made showers a bit uncomfortable, especially after a long day of exploring out in the cold mountain air. Overall, it is an excellent, affordable, and safe budget option for families, but management definitely needs to check the hot water pressure/temperature systems for the rooms. Would still recommend for the convenience and price!
