Parking a bit tight but we were able to leave the car right next to the hotel with a bit of shufflling. The staff were amazing and rooms ideal with air conditioning which was pretty key in this weather! Brilliant location right in town with lots of nice places in walking distance to eat. Garden was a joy to sit in and have a drink. We didn't eat there so cannot comment but would definitely stay again. Shout out to Chloe who totally sorted out my booking when I hadn't realised under 18s aren't strictly allowed but were on this occasion. Just great. Very charming old building as well.

Great to have a room on the ground floor with shower, self contained to heat food and keep drinks cold was around the back so a quieter location in the hotel. We could hear disco music on the second night of the stay. Staff were friendly and explained everything about keycodes, parking etc.

Old listed buildings but well looked after. Clean rooms great staff. Evening food was very nice Great location. The pub downstairs is fabulous. Great cocktail menu. DJ who actually plays what you want. And fantastic beer garden. One of the nicest I've seen in a long time

Room and location were great, onsite parking and helpful staff. Food was good.

We stayed on a Saturday night and there was a DJ/disco on until after midnight. We were warned of this when we checked in but it was so loud and there was more noise from other guests. Parking is limited. Drinks expensive. Rooms clean but basic even though we were upgraded to a superior room. The one staff member was very helpful and friendly but overall disappointed would not stay again.

Clean room, very practical. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was lovely a powerful had a great nights sleep.

I booked this hotel specifically as it said onsite parking. When we arrived there was no where to park. We had to park in a pay and display get up at the crack of dawn to buy another ticket so we didn't get a fine. Not happy.

Lovely stay, easy to find (Google maps) despite being tucked back from the main road, car park was small ish but just about adequate whilst I was there and I was able to park for free in a town centre location, big plus. Check-in very easy, staff very efficient and knowledgeable. Room was great, small kitchenette with sink and microwave next to the bed was a bit odd but I'm sure helpful to some even though I didn't use them this stay. My only negative and reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was having to go out back through a service area to reach the room I was assigned. It caused no real problem for me and was secure (behind locked gates so no public access) but was a bit of a disconnect from the amazing sprawling venue inside that they appear to have done so much work on to make look and feel amazing. Great stay, reasonable to competitive price against other local options when booking the day before staying as I did, would definitely stay there again.

My friend didn’t stay because the bottom sheet had dried bloodstains on it, she used the shower to freshen up, if you want me to keep this to myself I want a better rate offered to me for another stay otherwise I will feel compelled to share it, I will be in your hotel to speak to the manager within an hour or two. Awesome stay. Cool little room with everything you could want, nice and quiet (on a Wednesday night). Car park was full when I arrived but there is free evening parking nearby so there was no issue. Walkable to shops and pubs/restaurants. Will be back. Oh, also staff was excellent and they had liquid dnb playing in the lobby in the evening. Loved it.
