This hotel was great! The rooms were clean and comfortable, with great views. The dinner was amazing! Very accommodating and helpful staff. Definitely recommend!

Outdated hotel but clean, great breakfast and good location to explore beautiful surrounding areas

Very conveniently located in Vik. Rooms are spacious. We are vegetarian family travelling with young kids. The breakfast buffet was top notch with oatmeal, bread, eggs, cereal,.sandwich options, variety of fruits. Highly recommend.

Property was great had that real rustic charm feeling. The staff was amazing - helpful, kind, informative truly made the stay even more memorable

Clean room, staffs are nice and friendly. I stayed at the wooden cottage and it feels like HOME. We love it so much and it comes with all you need. I really love all the windows all around the living.

Large hotel with lots of tour group buses. Served a purpose with good location but not a great place. No blackout shades so during our trip in June the room remained light.

Posizione buona a pochi km da Vik. Possibilità di usufruire del ristorante con servizio a buffet (circa 60 euro a persona). Buffet discreto non particolarmente ricco e vario, ma ci si sazia. Dispenser di acqua per la borraccia e durante la colazione anche di caffè. Hotel utilizzato dai gruppi turistici e di conseguenza tavolate numerose e molte persone al buffet con qualche disagio e sensazione di mensa aziendale. Camera quadrupla utilizzata da tre adulti quindi confortevole perché Il terzo e quarto letto erano un divano-letto misura queen size per due persone. In conclusione, pessimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Il prezzo pagato per questa camera è stato tre volte superiore a quanto pagato in altri alberghi in cui siamo stati. Pensavo ci fosse un servizio particolare .... non c'era nemmeno il balsamo in bagno e nessun kit di cortesia. Avendo i capelli lunghi, ho chiesto il balsamo in reception ma non avevano flaconi da "vendermi". Assurdo.

Vi hadde en fin overnatting på hotellet. Rommet er rent og har inventar som er nødvendig for et kort opphold. Frokost er god og staff er veldig hyggelig. Det er relativt dyrt, ellers utmerket. Anbefales.

Super nice and comfortable room, our view was great, (till the tour bus parked) staff was super nice, breakfast was an extra bonus very good!

My daughter and I stayed here 2 nights. While the place was very clean, that is about the only high praise I can give it. The room was sparsely furnished and gave off a dorm room vibe. There were very few amenities - each bed had only 1 pillow, so I had to ask for an additional pillow for each of us. No fridge in the room or even a safe for our passports. My daughter found her bed very uncomfortable the second night, and realized in the middle of the night that housekeeping had flipped her mattress so that the pillow top side was facing the floor, and she was lying on the coil side. Why anyone would do that is beyond me, but it happened. If this place were a bargain I'd rate it higher, but it was the most expensive hotel we stayed in while in Iceland, so I'm giving it only 3 stars.

Great stay with plenty of room

Great property, very clean, and great breakfast

This hotel is dated. There is no aesthetic decor to be seen. I stayed at 7 hotels in Iceland and this one shocked me as the worst even though it was the most expensive. The WiFi didn’t work on our smart tv. The staff put us in a room facing the backyard when the property sits on a bluff with views of an expansive valley and the ocean, we booked the most expensive room. The dinner buffet was not good. The breakfast was also not good. The restaraunt had great views of the valley if that is important to you.

Breakfast was nice, nothing fancy but sufficient.
