It is clean and sufficient. Downside is that it is a bit dated, lack out power outlets to charge all the electronic devices. The host, Ken is very friendly and gave me a excellent intro of the area. I only stayed one night before hiking the Kumano Kodo. It is close to the train/bus station so that is a plus.

We stayed here before making our way to Takijiri-oji for the walk. Perfect location as it’s very close to the station and nice restaurants too.
