Clean and comfortable!

The hotel is nice , the staff let it down I received email asking to book parking but on arrival they said sorry nothing available which wasn’t a deal breaker. For people that are in business the breakfast is terrible From waiting 20 to 30 mins to order and another 20 + for food and when asking can I order please being told off by the staff to wait your turn On the last day I ordered bacon and egg cob and the fried egg was actually cold they apologised but I didn’t have any more time to wait for them. I personally have seen 3 other people walk out because they couldn’t wait anymore and the staff say I told him they need to wait I spent 8k on hotel rooms for my company to do an exhibition and was treated with disdain. The staff are rude telling people to wait over and over when 45 mins to an hour is not acceptable We normally plan meet at 8.30 leave by 9.00 but had to be down for 8.00 to leave for 9.00 sorry this isn’t good enough. When checking out asked was everything ok and saying no they said ok.

This place is really cute. The room is spacious. Got the 3rd floor in the back so area is quiet. The hotel is convenient to walk to local restaurants and shopping.

Got upgraded to a lovely studio room. Room was quiet, had excellent facilities in the room such as a kitchenette, table with games and a view over the park. There was also good amenities such as a gym. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. The only criticism is that they need to be clearer about parking as didn't realise this needed to be booked in advance. It was all booked out and I needed to reserve another space elsewhere with justpark.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Breakfast was delicious, room spacious, staff friendly and polite. Very shorth walk to cruise terminal. Would recommend this hotel.

Only a 25 minute walk from Southampton central and a 20 minute walk to the stadium, this place is in a great location. Room was spacious and clean. Bit of an odd smell in the room l must say but other than that, great room. My original room wasn't ready so I was moved to a room that was ready and as a result, given a complimentary breakfast which was a nice touch!! Overall, really liked it here and would definitely stay again

We loved the blend of it being a hometel. Was so clean and comfortable like home but had the amenities of a hotel. Having breakfast onsite was great. Absolutely loved the decor.

As an American traveler and a first time experience in Southampton, room2 was a very enjoyable experience. We had the room with the loft and park view. It was a wonderful room. Clean and comfortable with everything we needed prior to our cruise departure. The staff was very pleasant and gave us great recommendations on the area (Thanks Fernando!). We had just a brief stay but supremely positive. There are limited options for breakfast in the area so we opted for the lobby cafe and our breakfast was sublime. The only area of improvement I can suggest is the restaurant’s selection of wine. They had just two reds and the one we tried the evening of our arrival was…. awful. I do not recommend the pinot précoce. I am no som, but I’ve had my share and this wine was bottom 3 all time.

Nice location and really nice and clean room. Staff were mainly excellent. Breakfast staff manageress could have been a little more welcoming. The only real downside for me was a lack of options on the dinner menu, but Oxford Street is just around the corner, with plenty of eating options

We booked here due to the proximity of the cruise ships. This hotel was fantastic! Could walk most of all of Southampton with out any issue. Close in proximity to most things. The restaurant was fantastic for dinner one night. Rooms were big and well appointed. Loved the extra things they did to help with recycling etc. (the bins, the jar for milk etc). On top of all that they were very helpful in getting cabs and directing us when asked. I’d go there again in a minute!

Loved this hotel. Loved the decor, staff, location and breakfast. What I didn't love was that the pictures posted on Expedia showed a much bigger room than I got including space for a couch. We could barely squeeze by the bed whereas the two other couples we were travelling with did have rooms as advertised.
