Good location, breakfast at the adjacent Burnside Hotel was excellent

Best to avoid this one. Its not really a b and b at all, instead more a holiday let. Hot, uncomfortable and needed updating. Breakfast is actually via a hotel 5 mins up the road. The bed was hard, the shower broken (stuck on red-hot) and the radiators on - despite 21 degrees heat outside! There are no staff onsite, only when they literally give you a key. The rooms have thin walls, ill-fitting doors and doors and no obvious fire-safety features. The pictures are rather strategically taken and old. This is not as it appears in the website. In addition, it's not a 15 min walk to town, as advertised. Double that. I hate to say it, but probably the worse stay I've ever had. The only redeeming feature is that it was indeed very clean.

The room was very clean and well decorated. The shower was unusable due to an excessive temperature. There was no tea and coffee in the room, but it was available in the main kitchen. We were greeted when we arrived but we needed more information about our stay. I booked the one night stay through hotels.com and expected a breakfast included deal. Our host said the there was no breakfast included in the price. However, we were told that there was a place to eat just a short walk away. This proved correct but we had to pay a surcharge for a breakfast. The property has massive potential and we would stay there again. But, it needs to be made clear to guests what exactly is on offer and there needs to be someone on hand to contact if there are any issues to sort.

Enjoyed the hot tub. Delicious full English breakfast 200 yards away at the Burnside Hotel. Great choice of food at the village pub, The Belll. Arrived at check in time of 4pm and had to call the number to get owner to let us into room. Hard to get shower colder, owner let us use upstairs bathroom meant for another (vacant) room instead. Very clean and well kept property.

A lovely comfortable stay.

The reception was closed. But we were obviously picked up on camera and quickly helped, staff were attentive and helpful. I like the fact we shared a lounge area with other users( although we didn’t have any) . A good place to stay and would stay again

No one to greet us for check in and spurious directions to our room. The TV didn't work and the kettle only worked intermittently. The mattress protector was stained and could be seen through the sheet. No shower gel provided and strimming of the grounds started just before 8am in the morning. Having said that, parking was easy and the breakfast - provided at the hotel down the road - was amazing.

Nice place very cosy and festive. Unfortunately no TVs working in the room or communal lounge. Despite the promise to get this sorted it didnt happen and we never saw any staff after check-in to help us with anything. Breakfast wasnt cooked as advertised it was continental. All guests seated together at the breakfast table with no regard to social distancing. Despite this had a lovely comfortable stay.

The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was of good size too. Location was fairly close to downtown... just walking distance from Ann Hathaway’s home which was pretty cool! The breakfast was delicious!! Minty took wonderful care of us and our accommodations. She went out of her way to make sure we were happy and comfortable.

Friendly owner focused on our comfort. Some rooms not large but comfortable with great coming area.

Very friendly and welcoming, informal and comfortable. Easy to get to on our bikes from the cycle path along the old railway line. Breakfast was lovely.

Fantastic Hotel, Staff very welcoming and hospitable. Will definitely be retuning.

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Upgraded to a thatched roof traditional cottage with all mod cons. Would definitely recommend & return. Close enough to walk to the races & town centre plus lively welcoming village pub.

Beautiful, peaceful B&B. The breakfast is amazing. Staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the housekeeper Wendy. Only issue we had was the walls are thin and we could hear everything from next door. Perfect for a family break though. Will go back.

The hotel was in beautiful surroundings, within a nice walking distance of Stratford upon Avon centre. Full English cooked breakfast served each morning, but there is the facility to self-cater depending on which accommodation you choose to stay in. The staff very really pleasant and were more than happy to make your stay comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel, and would definitely stay there again.

Staff were fabulous as was the breakfast. We had a twin room and it was very cosy but both found the beds very uncomfortable and have suggested to the manager that they should be updated. Great location within walking distance of Anne Hathaway’s cottage
