Well located near a subway station and the imperial park. Futons were very comfortable.

This is a nice, small hotel in a great location. It is clean and quiet. The staff is very helpful, and staff members speak English fluently. For breakfast we had 3 sandwiches to choose from, served with a soup, small salads, fruit, and beverages. Amenities include in-house coin washer/drier and a very nice guest lounge with free tea and water, an icemaker, microwave, and seating options. A subway and bus station, numerous restaurants and convenience stores, and Kyoto Gyoen National Garden (with the Imperial Palace) are in close walking distance. We had a very nice stay.

お部屋が清潔でシンプル上品なのは言うまでもなく、宿泊者用のラウンジや屋上ものんびりできまました。

The location is very convenient. Train station is 1 min from hotel. McDonald's is opposite the hotel who those who may need it. The imperial palace, the gardens, Nishiki markets and Nijo castle is within walking distance. The provided breakfast was a sandwich and a soup, which wasn't to our taste as a breakfast option. The room was clean and modern, however the layout was not convenient including the TV facing the door and no casting option. The bathroom was great, large clean and very useful amenities provided however was inconvenient as it was outside the room, which was annoying when using it at night. The windows were frosted and could not be opened so the room had very little natural light. In order to get drinking water for your room, you have to go downstairs to ground floor to fill the provided jugs. They say this is for environmental reasons, however it's extremely inconvenient if you run out and you have to make trips down every so often. While environmentally conscious, it's very impractical.

The staff and rooms were great. I enjoyed the amenities and I was happy there were washers and dryers.

Boutique style hotel, with clean & relatively spacious ( by Japanese standards) rooms. Staff were courteous. Nice touch with an array of guest amenities eg hairbrushes, tea bags, face creams etc & eatery…Great location too , across the road from the Kyoto national garden & walking distance to bus lines that will take you to a number of local temples & shrines..

Meget gennemført lækkert hotel. Der er ikke en finger at sætte her. Personalet var venlige og hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden var rigtig god. Indretningen var super fed og minimalistisk. Der var rigtig gode naturlige produkter som bodymist og sæber. Hotellet var meget rent. Vil klart besøge det igen.

Good central stay, clean and nice hotel. Bedding was very hard so not the most comfortable, and breakfast had limited choices, but overall a good stay.

Excellent service

This is our third time staying here at Rakuro Kyoto, and it’s always so pleasant. They always accommodate my family with children. The staff and amenities are great. Definitely recommend to first time travelers.
