The highlight is the breakfast. It is done very well. Very healthy, fresh and very nicely displayed. In fact one of the best I have seen in the world sans the pastries you get in France. Otherwise the hotel is a solid 3 stars. My first night I went to the restaurant to be greeted with " we're closing " despite 20 minutes left till their close time. However the food very good. Maybe staff with a little hospitality.

This hotel is just a 2 min walk to the bus top, 7 mins to Tram or T (Metro). It takes about 10 to 15 mins max to Oslo Central Station. There's a huge Store Center (Mall) next door and there's plenty of eateries inside. A grocery store is at levwl 1 of this stroe center. The breakfast buffet is really good and I'd rate that a 5+*. The nightly rates were 3 times lesser here compared to any hotel near Oslo sentrum (Central). Highly recommend staying here if you are in the Oslo area.

Great hotel, and the breakfast buffet is out of this world !! And the subway, tramway and buses are very close by. Most of the restaurants around the hotel are closing fairly early though (if you like dining after 9pm)

Veldig bra opphold. Mye kø i resepsjonen. Fikk feil rom-nr. til å begynne med.. ble mye kluss og kjedelig for en småbarnsmor og en trøtt og sulten fireåring. En del rusk i senga som ellers så helt nyoppredd ut. Håper den ikke var brukt av noen andre før oss. Ekstremt bra frokost!! Og kjempehyggelige ansatte!

Perfekt beliggenhet. Stort og godt rom. Lekkert møblert og fargevalg. Eneste negative var litt lekkasje søl fra kaffemaskinen, men vi fikk kaffe

Sehr schönes Hotel und super freundliche Mitarbeiter. Direkt neben dem Hotel ist eine Bushaltestelle. Das beste aber ist das Frühstück, wir waren schon in vielen Hotels, aber wir hatten noch nie ein besseres. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

We chose this hotel due to an early appointment at Volvat Medical Center, just a 5-minute walk away. The breakfast was fantastic, and the hotel itself is situated in a lovely area outside Oslo city center. The surroundings are excellent, with a scenic river nearby and a large shopping center just 2 minutes away offering a wide variety of great stores. The subway is also close, providing easy access to downtown Oslo in only about 15 minutes.

Fint opphold. Lite bråk utenfor selv i et travelt område. Store rom. Nydelig frokost. Stort treningsrom, men noe av utstyret burde fått en oppgradering, blitt reparert/vedlikeholdt.

Vanskelig å finne plass ved frokosten som vi hadde kl. 9. Vanskelig å se hvilke bord som var ledige og ikke. Vi endte opp med å sette ved siden av en annen, før noen kom og ryddet av bordet ved siden da. Flyttet oss deretter dit.

Wonderful stay! Thon hotel was very clean and super quiet! Best of was the breakfast buffet! You can not even imagine the choices one could have for breakfast! Simply amazing !!

We looked for a balance of nice but reasonably priced and absolutely found it here! Though you need to take the T-bane or Trikk to city center, both are very convenient to this location and there is plenty nearby to meet guests needs. We went to the shopping center next door several times and were able to get anything we needed from food, pharmacy, to clothes and other random items. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, and the lobby was also excellent. Staff was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our favorite part, though, was the breakfast! It was delicious and had so many fun local foods we were excited for every morning (that barley pudding was amazing!) and there was plenty of seating no matter what time we came downstairs. We truly enjoyed our stay and I would absolutely return on a future trip and check first for Thon hotels in any area we visit next time!

The best breakfast in Norway. Service was incredible at all the places. I’d like repeating this experience there. Thanks a lot for it.
