Poor customer service and housekeeping

Surprisingly large room, very welcome for the family!

The staff were very kind and helpful. The check-in/out process was very smooth. The helped us call cabs, which also came very quickly. The room was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Gute Lage, direkt beim Gare du Lyon und der dazugehörigen Metrostation. Grosszügiges Zimmer auf 6. Etage mit Blick auf Dächer der Nachbarn und einer Grossbaustelle; gut isolierte Fenster. Bad war nicht sauber geputzt und hatte auch nach dem Nachputzen durch das Personal noch ältere Kalkablagerungen und Schmutz.

It’s close to train station and restaurants

Room amenities were a disappointment.

I stayed in family room and it was good. I had to ask clean the shower wall because it was dirty but when I asked them, they came to clean so that was good.

Easy access to public transportation, it's a great location for easy access to the trains and buses to all the various landmarks and sights around the city. A short walk to the waterfront. My family and I took the Eurostar into Gare du Nord and Uber to the hotel, had we known we would have taken the metro system that. It was only a few stops away and we took it when getting back to the Eurostar leaving the city after. The staff is pleasant there and going in and out there was always security in the lobby.

Staff were extremely lovely - location and walkability are definitely the reason for the expensive price. Worth it for ease of travel around the city and to the airports. The hotel is very busy, and their staff do an excellent job of keeping everyone happy. We did have two outlets that didn't work in our room, and the water dispenser on our floor was broken, and the TV cut out every time we tried to connect one of our devices through the 'smart tv' applications. We attempted to call the front desk a few times but we are sure they were busy. It was late enough so we just went to sleep. Again, staff lovely, location fabulous, just some small things that would have made it a perfect stay.

The reception team was very helpful and friendly

Broadly good - increasingly these days if you booked through a third party like Expedia you are treated not quite so well. No one asked for my Silver Marriott Convoy card but I got it added later. Room was fine. Service in bar later and at breakfast just about OK. Slow egg service at breakfast compensated by delivery to table although I had finished everything else by then. Restaurant furniture has had its day with ripped coverings.

Good and clean, newer property. Easily walkable and near a train station. Decent all buffet breakfast option. Absolutely loved the eco friendly option of providing Brita glass water jug and filling station on each floor.

Great location. Pretty new hotel. Love the American standards for room size, bed size, and bathroom amenities. A drawback, no complimentary breakfast for a Courtyard.

Great stay

This location was within a two minute walk to the Gare de Lyon station. Very central and easy to get around the city from there.

Hotel out of main Paris.

Lascenseur est d'une lenteur deconcertante

Good location, great view and service, parking is not expensive and train / metro are very close to the hotel.

L’european is a perfect choice for a nice dinner
