I would not recommend to anyone there was cracks in the walls the carpet was not put down properly the night staff disappeared when there was a very bad problem with one person who was staying at the hotel were he threatened to knock me and using foul language to me and he disturbed all the residents in the hotel and the room could be cleaned better and I lost my room key and got charged £10 for a new one then found it did not get the £10 back and it has no bar no shops near by and my mum found a bedbug in her room I would not go back there it was the worst hotel ever I’ve been to. I’ve been up all night because I couldn’t sleep. I’m so glad I’m home and safe. The bed was so uncomfortable and the pillows are dreadful. The whole place could do with a tidy up and put a bar in and is also health and safety issues in the place. The fire alarm also had a fault you could see it flashing and you said on the system there is a fault on

Hotel went out of their way to allow us a late check in as we could not arrive until after 11:00pm. Perfect location for a flight from Gatwick. Just a few minutes drive to North terminal. The room was large and clean with furniture a little dated but that did not impact our stay at all. We will definitely book here again.

Close to Gatwick, comfortable room

This hotel is conveniently located near the airport, which made it very easy to access after a long travel day. Since I had to check in after hours, the staff arranged for my room key to be placed securely in the mailbox, making the process smooth and stress-free. The property felt safe, was clean and well-maintained, and offered a comfortable environment. Considering the price, it provided excellent value for the location and amenities. I would definitely choose to stay here again if the need arises.

Happy with my stay. Was enough for one night. Only downfall was that I don’t have a UK number when travelling so I couldn’t order food from the recommended restaurant. Staff was incredibly lovely - thanks!!

Lovely old building set in the countryside of Charlwood, very peaceful and quiet considering how clise you are to the airport. Good reception, facilities and staff are friendly. Beautiful room really comfy bed. Shower was a little difficult to work out but lovely hot water. Great price for what you get. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect location for getting to the airport. Great hotel, very clean and excellent service

The first challenge I faced was finding the hotel. There is a single sign, which only faces in one direction, so it is not the easiest place to find if you miss that (which I did...twice). The staff are very friendly and helpful, but the room I stayed in could definitely use a bit of TLC. The sink tap was really stiff to operate, the waterfall showerhead had some serious lime scale build up, and there was black mould around the shower tray - it happens everywhere and is not a huge issue, but does show that some refurbishment might be needed. I stupidly paid for parking, as the listing said it was not free, only to be told at reception that it is free for guests. Totally my fault for not asking first, but not ideal. I would go back if I was in the area, now that I know where it is, and would love to see what improvements were made

Quiet restful stay, lovely quiet room, easy parking Rooms are clean,well equipped and very comfortable... the reason we have stayed there on numerous occasions and will continue to do so. Definitely a 5 out of 5 from me

Staff are very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. This hotel has been renovated and super clean. Its location is just a few minutes away from the international airport LGW

The property itself is great, with nice furniture, a good location, and good parking. Unfortunately, the room had a lot of accumulated dust, which triggered a very strong allergy that I'm still suffering from. So, they need to clean the entire room, not just the middle where we see it upon arrival, because there was dust underneath and on the side of the bed from other guests who dropped it, who knows how long ago.

Dusty, cobwebs,spiders and silverfish in room and bathroom. Window opened onto flat roof easily accessible. Not good on a hot night as fan not strong. Staff very helpful and friendly

Silverfish were present all in our room, alongside loads of spiders. The bed was also partly broken so was uncomfortable to sleep in with my partner. Property especially room 110 is not up to standards for the price.

The staff were very polite and helpful. Unfortunately, inspite of the room being well appointed there were issues such as a broken loo seat and bin lid. The sink tap was akward to use, broken shower tray surround, water coming out the side of the shower hose, bin hadnt been emptied and a half empty old bottle of wine left in the fridge. Apart from all of this , it is a nice building, and you can easily park.
