Clean room…

Room was clean however room not available till 7pm had to wait around the area till then

Room was old & fairly clean. Was a non-smoking unit; but the vents brought in smoke from other rooms.

Isla is not terrible but it is an older hotel. Not sure why but many staff members seemed to be grumpy.. example the guy who puts umbrellas out came and yelled it’s 5o’clock time to go and just started throwing chairs in a pile while the people looked on a bit shocked at his abrupt behavior. The first night I was there the bartender was not friendly at all and spent lots of time hiding on her phone.

Enjoyed our stay.

I thought the hotel was good basic room rooms. Everything was clean. The grounds could’ve been kept better. Check-in could’ve been more streamlined, but other than that it was a good value.

Everything was nice! My second time staying. Go for it … no regrets

Ocean view

The resort is fantastic, as everything you need and then some. Service was not a great experience. The cabanas were a little worn but good enough for sleeping. The property was well maintained in the common areas and had a great atmosphere. Would recommend.

The property was in a convenient location and beautiful. Staff was phenomenal, pleasant and showed willingness to help. However was slow on delivery of food. And the gym was outdated and no access to plug in/connect the machines , the cords weren't in eyesight.

We loved the stay here! It was a perfect get away trip. Everything was right there and easily accessible. We will definitely be back!

The place just looks run down.. our room looks it age.. Old

Made us wait more than two hours for our room to be ready, when check in was supposed to be at 4. Was told I was going to get partial refund and refunded resort fees and hasn’t happened

For a beach hotel I expect better cleaning service. We had sand on our floor from the first day. We called to ask for housekeeping but were told we would get light housekeeping... this really only means towels and trash pick up. We could not even sweep the floor ourselves. I used two pieces if paper to try to clean the floor. The facility is a bit dated and feels like an 80s style resort which is pretty neat. The grounds were littered with trash which brought ants. Our patio was full of them so we could not sit outside... no resolution to this problem either. I know since COVID hotels have changed how they do things but we pay more now for less amenities. We just wanted a clean room which should not have been too much to ask.

Felt a bit outdated and not super new! We still had a great time though. We were expecting nicer amenities and a more updated feel.

We had to Waite 45 minutes after check in time for our room to be available and kitchen at dinner was understaffed food took an hour

For the price of the property there should be umbrellas at the beach for no charge. Restrooms by the beach are needed. The restaurant was super slow last nite and we wound up walking out. I would have preferred to stay at the Marriott which surpasses this hotel. It’s titled resort and needs to be like a resort. We paid for oceanfront and they put us downstairs at there “Motel” and told us that for Expedia that’s considered oceanfront. We did wind up liking the quick accessibility to the beach from our Motel room.
