I stayed on the eve of the Norfolk show when every hotel in Norwich is booked solid. St Giles had a very expensive room left and I was forced to take it as I was in Norwich for work. The hotel is housed in a lovely building with an impossible to find, “on-site” car park (which they charge an extra £10 for!!) The breakfast was exceptional and the room was spacious but pretty basic. Overall the room was way overpriced for what it was. This might have been a price hike due to high demand? It’s one of those places that feels like it’s run for the dividends of the company that owns it rather than for the experience of the guest. If it’s the only place to stay in Norwich I wouldn’t mind going back but if there are lots of equally good hotels for half the price in Norwich - I’d go there instead.

Excellent location, right in the centre but also very quiet no noise from any clubs .Excellent facilities in hotel all staff very helpful and always smiling. Will definitely stay again

Definitely a hotel worth visiting, breakfast was great with lots of choice, didn’t dine in the evening as only there 2 nights. The staff were absolutely fantastic, so helpful and friendly. Our room was beautiful, quality toiletries and the fan was very useful. Car parking £10 each night, good for city centre easily to walk into.

Friendly and helpful staff. Ideally located in centre of city short walking distances to all places of interest. Excellent parking facilities at reasonable rates

The hotel and its bar and restaurant all have an Irish flavour. Our welcome was friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, although the ancient wardrobe's lock needed understanding. We did have some trouble with the shower doors. Breakfasts were excellent. The croissants were top=class. We decided to eat our evening meals in the restaurant and can report that the menu was varied and the food and service top quality.

Excellent, hotel with friendly staff, great food, comfortable room, we loved the interior design and how close it was to the centre of Norwich but very quiet at night. It was really nice to relax properly. We stayed one night, next time it will be longer.

I am writing this review for my parents as this holiday was there Christmas present so I am just relaying there personal experience. Lovely clean space with friendly staff. Dinner was really nice, howerer the breakfast was a mixed bag, cooked breakfast was pretty terrible but the home made fruit bowls and yogurt was amazing. Nice clean modern room with great showers, but pretty uncomfortable bed from there description. Overall a good stay for 2 nights, would definitely recommend if your staying for a day or two in Norwich.

The location of the property was ideal, close to everything,yet on a quiet street. The rooms were big and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was very good, both hot from a menue and continental. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Norwich.

The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to all of the city's attractions, everything within a 10 minute walk and 5 minutes from the town centre. The taxi from the railway station only took about 10 minutes. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant and bar area. The breakfast was very nice with a good variety of options. The only negative points were that the room was a bit dark, the shower was prone to leak if the door wasn't shut carefully and the TV was a bit temperamental, switching itself off sometimes, and a fridge would have been nice, none of which spoiled our enjoyment of the hotel. Overall it was a nice hotel, well located with friendly staff.

So convenient for the centre and station. Second time we have stayed. Who wouldn’t want to have their delicious breakfast too.

Great location for the city centre. Hotel was clean, staff very friendly. Stayed in the twin room which was ok. Had a disabled bathroom which was a little dated. Room definitely needs black out curtains. Our stay was mid May and it was very light in the room by 5am. Comfortable beds and breakfast was good

Quiet night’s sleep, comfy bed. Extensive choice of fine food on breakfast menu. Good central location, parking adjacent.

Lovely breakfast with fresh pastries and food cooked to order. Room seemed freshly painted and looked good. Carpet could do with an update Broadband not good for watching TV. staff were excellent very friendly and considerate

This hotel is perfectly placed for the centre of Norwich, a stones throw from the market and Norwich Lanes. The staff were all cheerful, welcoming and extremely helpful. The food - excellent, value for money and beautifully presented. The only difficulty we experienced was in locating the car park at the rear of the hotel. However, popping into reception and they put us right.

Lovely traditional hotel with attentive staff and comfortable, beautifully decorated rooms. Added touch of towel animal sculptures was appreciated. :-) Food superb and good selection at both breakfast and evening. Bar well stocked with selection of single malts etc.
