Well thought out Our little "apartment" had EVERYTHING we could ask for and more. Even Bandaids for my poor little toes ....skinned while trying to paddleboard. Lol 😆 worth it!!! Everyone is just wonderful ❤️

The rooms were a great size and the beach access was great. Staff were always polite and helpful. Gym was good.

Beautiful stunning, clean room and deck, overlooking the sea. The kitchen was absolutely over the top. Helpful, kind and courteous staff. This place was absolutely stunning! I would recommend this to anybody who wants to check out Placencia. You will love it…guaranteed!

Belizean Nirvana was incredible from start to finish. The staff were some of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve ever met — every little detail felt personal and thoughtful. The room was spotless, beautifully kept, and they even surprised us with flowers on the bed for our anniversary, which was such a sweet touch. Everything about the stay was amazing — the location, the vibe, the service. The only downside was that we only booked two nights. We could’ve easily stayed a week. Can’t wait to come back.

We stayed at Belizean Nirvana for 4 nights in October 2025. This boutique hotel is located directly on the beach, and the views from our room were stunning- so much so that we woke up early to watch the sunrise over the water each morning. Our room felt more like a well-appointed condo than a typical hotel room. It had a separate living room and bedroom, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, and beautiful wood accents throughout. The added bonus of a water purification system was appreciated, and the oversized jet tub in the bathroom was a relaxing treat (used it twice!). The staff did a great job keeping the beach clean and free of seaweed. Breakfast was served on the rooftop from 8:30–9:30 a.m., but since we had early excursions, they thoughtfully delivered breakfast to our room the night before—such a nice option! The location is ideal: central and walkable to plenty of restaurants, the pier, and most excursion departure points. While there’s no on-site parking (which seems common for beachfront properties in the area), Belizean Nirvana offers free parking in a private lot just a 3 minute walk away. Staff made arrival easy by meeting us to drop off our luggage before parking. Other thoughtful amenities included beach towels, a welcome drink of rum punch, and overall helpful, friendly service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-located, and comfortable beachfront stay in Placencia.

My family and I enjoyed our short stay in the Namaste apartment at the Belizean Nirvana in Placencia. The apartment was larger than expected with a beautiful veranda overlooking the ocean. When I was researching accommodations, the Belizean Nirvana was one of the few that offered breakfast, which was a plus given that my husband and I traveled with our teen and tween. The hotel was central to all of the restaurants and shops on the island. Barbara and Evan were wonderful and available if we needed them.

My first time to Belize, My stay at Nirvana was amazing. Minutes from Placentia airport. If you are looking for the perfect location for relaxation and quiet, Nirvana is it. Barbara and Evan including their staff were tentative and accommodating. Shout out to Carolyn and Levi! There is a warm sense of community in Placentia, loved it. Freshly picked coconut water. The area is walkable and safe. Waking up to an astounding sunrise and winding down with a remarkable sunset. My birthday was on the full moon so it was extra special for me. Supermarket and restaurants are all steps away. We will be returning for another visit soon, can't wait.

We had a wonderful stay, the staff is delightful, the location is perfect to walk anywhere in town. All of the basics were provided, coffee, tea, welcome drinks, etc..

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Placencia Beach. You are dire tly on the beach,and the ow ers are just the sweetest people on this side oh Heaven

The Nirvana was an excellent choice for Placencia. Right on the beach and convenient to all the local restaurants and beach bars. Evan and Barbara were both great hosts and we had a great stay. The hotel is well maintained and feels very homey, all the amenities that you need. The breakfast was also very good.

The peace and serenity along with the wonderful accommodations of the Belizean Nirvana made our stay in Placencia a time to remember. The room was incredible and the proximity to all the shops and restaurants was unparalleled. 10/10 would stay here again.

I stayed five nights at Nirvana in mid-April. It’s a great place to stay in Placencia. It’s centrally located in the village and is an easy walk to bars, restaurants, shopping, and the dock from which many excursions depart. I had a first-floor unit with plenty of space, a comfortable bed, and very nice porch. The beach is right outside the front door of the unit. There is a light breakfast on the roof each morning and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I’m already thinking about staying at Nirvana again.

Belizean Nirvana is heaven on Earth!! We absolutely loved our time there. Amazing staff. The Namaste room is AMAZING!! It had everything we could ask for and more. We will absolutely be back.
