This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had in years of international travel. We had a prepaid booking and arrived late in the evening, only to be denied check-in because I did not have my passport with me. My passport was accidentally left at my brother’s place, two hours away, but my husband had his passport and I presented a driver’s license with photo, which is a government-issued ID accepted worldwide. If this hotel has a strict policy requiring passports for every guest, that should be clearly communicated in the booking confirmation or pre-arrival emails. It was never mentioned anywhere. You cannot enforce a hidden policy on tired guests at night and leave them stranded. What made this situation far worse was the horribly rude and unprofessional behavior of the receptionist (a lady at the front desk). Instead of handling the situation with basic courtesy or empathy, she coldly suggested that my husband could go to the room while I stayed in the lobby. That is not just unreasonable — it is humiliating. Hotels.com contacted the property directly to help resolve the issue, yet her attitude remained unchanged and dismissive. Even if the hotel chose to stick to its policy, there is a respectful way to decline guests. This was not it. I have traveled to over a dozen countries and visited the UAE 7–8 times, and I have never encountered this level of hostility and lack of basic hospitality at any hotel.

Fantastic place with very helpful and efficient staff. Room was spacious and great value for money. The area in which the hotel is situated is a bit far from the main tourist sites but worth it.

Quarto bem confortável, cama ótima. As toalhas poderiam ser melhores, as vezes manchadas ou até mesmo rasgadas. Nos mais tudo ótimo. Boa localização para quem quer ficar próximo a cidade velha

Low cost and high quality, but location is a little bad.

Friendly, efficient and helpful staff on reception. The pool staff, restaurant and cleaners were very polite. On arrival there were some unsightly marks around the bathroom that needed cleaning, the curtains were damaged as was the sink plug. We found the bed and pillows a bit hard and uncomfortable and on reflection we would have preferred a location closer to the beaches as its very difficult to walk in Dubai because of the traffic and huge distances. But the pool area was great and overall it was excellent value for money

Good hotel

It was the best hotel I was in terms of relationship between price and quality. Rooms are big and quite clean with all working in perfect conditions and with a very comfortable feeling. Indian restaurant is amazing which made us eat there every day. Breakfast needs to be well improved to be at the same level of the rest (service was 5 stars but the food needs to be more and diversified). It was an amazing experience and to repeat.

Well, it was not expected based on what i saw from the pictures. The all services could have been a lot better. We reserved a room for three people but what they gave me was a very small room which was really difficult to stay... Also the treatment of manager was a lot imploite and he was not at all kind. Evert day they woudn't clean our room completely. Sometimes a towel missed, sometimes a toothbrush missed and etc... Also, the diversity of breakfast was nothing, i can say we could only eat eges, That's it I DO NOT recommend this hotel at all

The friendly and helpful staff to name the few Daniel in tours and travel and front desk personnel and housekeeping.We enjoyed our stay we will recommend this property to our family and friends.

Stayed at Grayton for 4 -5 days, Situated in Deira, very busy area shopping and business. Great area for exposing the Gold, Perfune and Spice Souk. Much cheaper to live than around JBR and the Palm if you want to spend more time in Dubai and discover other areas. Lovely hotel, good gym and Pool area. Spa is good also for massage. Food is good. Staff and service good also.

Det er et billig og ikke så gammelt hotell. Harde senger og A/C fungerte dårlig på mitt rom. avløpsvannet i dusjen virket også tett. Orket ikke klage og flyttet ut etter 1 natt isteden.
