Old and dated... definitely need a update.. room is spacious but there were huge bug when got in the room. Wouldn't worth the price they charging but just because there is no other option in town.

I would like to write a better review for the Executive Suites because the staff were friendly and professional. However, the property is dingy, dated and not acceptable at the price point. The A/C worked but was not installed well so the main bedroom was full of moths. For similar cost, there are other motels in Chapleau that are very clean, centrally located and nicely updated. This motel needs to upgrade or drop its price!

Excellent restaurant on premises.

Not great, first room looked like it was either in redo mode or in use, 2nd room was not much better. Door would not stay closed unless bolted, very few dishes, no toilet paper other than the 1/4 roll in the bathroom. Terrible furniture & TV. This is very basic accommodation at a premium price in my opinion. It was ok clean wise & staff was friendly, but that's about it. Not much to choose from in Chapleau, but I would not go back.

Bare bones facility at best. Definitely not something you want to consider if you want a relaxing stay because the "room" was up/down a step with the bathroom and the bedroom in the upper floor (a lot of steps) and the living room downstairs. There is nothing "executive" about this property except for their adherence to no-money back for reservations. The owner did offer us a chance to stay at another one of his properties, but that one was much smaller and it had a common shared bathroom in the hallway. We had to find another motel in town because my wife has accessibility issues and there is not way she would be able to navigate the steps.

The room was fine. Staff was fine.

The room was exceptionally clean . Nothing fancy but the small kitchen would make it easy to keep and cook food. The bedrooms very basic but very clean . Sitting area was good. All the staff where very personal able, the locals were very fond of the staff and pleasant to all . Chapleau in general was our favorite stop on our tour of the north. Only stayed one night but would definitely come back . Thank you for sharing your beautiful town with us.

Room was as described. Dated but overall clean.

The main floor had a living room, well equipped kitchen with new appliances. Upstairs had 2 bedrooms and a full bath. Complimentary toiletries were in both bedrooms plus the bathroom. Though the facility is older, it was clean, freshly painted throughout with beautiful carpet upstairs. Plenty of room for your sledding gear to brought inside. Restaurant right on premises so you don’t have to cook if you don’t want to.

Service is great Very clean and comfortable

Une d’entre nous est allergique à la poussière donc il y en avait pas mal puisqu’elle a eu beaucoup de réaction. Il y avait beaucoup de choses qui trainait ce qui désagréable. Le personnel etaient vraiment gentil. J’ai demandé quelques affaires et on toujours acquiesce à nos demandes.

Not motorcycle friendly in the rear of building. Looks like they were in the middle of renovating. $200 for a very low end room. Friendly owners who were eager to please, however, the price was extremely high for the quality of room.

This property was so much better than we anticipated. The staff was helpful and kind, and the room was an amazing suite for the price.

The room was clean. Best I can say. Property is old and not typical Executive Suites. Area is remote and caters to hunters and fishermen, and area blue collar workers. Not much to choose from in this area.

Would be ok for construction or visit trades .

Nasty Executive Suites in Chapleau, the condition of this motel was shocking and the positive reviews were misleading. Check in was confusing which was strange because I pre booked online. (Expedia). Untrained staff left alone. She was on speaker phone so I heard the unprofessional exchange. The manager must not of known he was on speaker because he did not talk very nicely to her. Unfortunately before seeing the room I had to pay two nights in advance. The fabric furniture had mystery spots and stains. The remote was sticky so you had to wash your hands after each use. Masking tape left on walls in every room. There was crusty DNA like substance splatter on our blankets, pretty horrifying. Stuff left in fridge, coffee grounds spilt in cupboard. We felt it wise to repack our bags and bring with us when leaving for day trip. Small restaurant, Large menu. Not the best quality or tasting food. The staff was very nice though. I would never pay so much money for such a poor experience. I wanted to checkout immediately but it was late and we are young ladies traveling alone. Felt we didn’t have much other options. I hope they can do better in the future.

Great place for a quick stay over night. Staff friendly and great to talk to!

This hotel is an older but decent inn which has an on-site restaurant, which was good and very convenient. We rented a 2 bedroom suite which is a 2 story unit with living room and kitchen on the ground floor and the bathroom and 2 bedrooms on the second floor. It was quiet mostly but backs on to the train yard and occasionally the trains do go by.
