The hotel is conveniently located across the beach — just a short walk from Les Planches — and offers great comfort. The $21 buffet breakfast for each adult is an absolute winner since kids eat for free. The hotel offers both a sushi bar and a French restaurant, two convenient additions when you’re tired from a day spent swimming at the beach, which is what we came for. However, we thought Trouville to be a lot livelier as a resort than Deauville, with a mix of small French town charm, beautiful beach and sea side activities.

Property was OK and restaurant was good, but Novotel took a room charge deposit by credit card when I booked the room via Expedia. Then they insisted on full payment again when we left, saying that the deposit would be cancelled promptly. 3 weeks later the deposit is still showing as pending on my credit card account. Not acceptable.

Super sauber. Ich habe selten so ein gepflegtes Zimmer gehabt. Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Sehr gute Lage. Alles geht zu Fuß. Das einzige, was mich gestört hat, war die laute Musik im gesamten Lobbybereich, die teilweise sogar bis zu meinem Zimmer im 1. OG durchdrang. Dieses lag direkt über dem Empfang.

The property is very close to the beach. Breakfast/ dinner is on the top floor with some seating on the balcony with beautiful sea views We recommend reserving a dinner table (you can reserve the tables with sea view for dinner) There is free on street parking just behind the hotel.

Parfait séjour, bien accueillie par un monsieur, très bon restaurant.

We super cool avec les enfants qui ont adoré la piscine et l’espace jeux. Petit bemol sur le petitdej qui n’est pas tres varié a mon gout.

Nous avons réservé la suite (duplex) et à notre arrivée j’ai été déçue du fait qu’il y avait de la moquette dans la chambre à l’étage. Je ne l’avais pas vu sur les photos. Pour moi, la moquette est un vrai red flag ! C’est pas du tout hygiénique ! D’autant plus les hôtels qui acceptent les animaux. Nous savons tous très bien que les chiens marquent leur territoire en urinant ! D’ailleurs c’est ce que notre chien a fait à peine arrivé dans la chambre, c’était inévitable. Autre problème, la piscine, plutôt un bassin, minuscule, impraticable et inutile, en période de vacances scolaires ! C’est un justificatif de la 4eme étoile Troisième problème, nous devions être 4 pour cette suite, mais la 4 ème personne a eu un problème de dernière minute et n’est donc pas venue. Comme nous avions réglé 4 petits déjeuners, j’ai demandé un petit geste commercial, à notre arrivée. J’ai proposé de bien vouloir, remplacer le 4eme petit déjeuner, par le tarif du chien mais cela nous a été refusé. Pour conclure, cet hotel ne justifie pas les 4 étoiles annoncées, nous avons été déçus dans l’ensemble
