The family room was pretty spacious for a hotel room with a bed upstairs and downstairs, but the prices are very steep as we were traveling during a peak month. Our party also rented superior rooms which were pricey but had comfortable beds and showers. The breakfast at the hotel was good with many different options.

The room is small and has poor ventilation. Smells like a zoo. There is shampoo, shower soap, hand soap, but no body lotion. The breakfast is decent.

Great location and rooms! Staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast each morning was great! There are laundry services. Laundry is expensive but quick turnaround. Highly recommended! We traveled as a family of 5.

Leider nicht wie beschrieben Verdunklungsvorhänge sondern normale. D.h. es war auch nachts sehr hell im Zimmer. Die Standard Zimmer sind im alten Teil des Hotels. Die Bäder sehr alt und wartungsbedürftig.

We didnt understand the positive ratings for this hotel. The accommodation is massively overpriced for what it actually offers. We paid more for a single night here than at luxury hotel Hótel Jökulsárlón - Glacier Lagoon, which stands in no relation to the quality provided. The breakfast was very average and uninspired. It consisted mostly of convenience food, with nothing fresh or special. It is incredibly frustrating to pay a premium price only to receive subpar amenities and basic breakfast.

The hotel was the perfect stay for us during our trip along the Ring Road. Accommodations were super clean, and the hotel is really convenient for dining options and anything you'd like to experience in Vik or the surrounding area. We were able to walk to dinner, there's a nice bar/restaurant, and we enjoyed a night cap chatting with friends in the additional/separate lounge area near our rooms. Don't skip on the breakfast for a great start to the day. Would definitely stay here again if we ventured to the area on a future vacation!

Expensive but totally worth it. On our Ring Road trip this was the most expensive hotel we booked, but no regrets. Loved the room and breakfast. Staff was very kind; they even gave us an upgrade. Highly recommended.
