Property located near train station, DAM square, and many restaurants and tourist attractions. Host David is very helpful and made our stay comfortable.

Excellent location- room was exactly what we were looking for, kettle for coffee/tea. Very close to station and walkable to cruise terminal also. A little attention required on the overhead light.

Fantastic location. Very spacious, clean and tidy. Perfect for a short break away. Great communication from David. Thank you for a lovely time. Will return! 😀

We had a nice stay in Velvetamsterdam. Perfectly located in the red light district, but really quiet to be able to sleep. Bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. I totally recommend to stay at David’s!

Wonderful clean spacious room. All amenities tea, coffee in great supply. All aspects have been thought about and provided. Wonderful and helpful host, David. Good central location for walking around the city. Would definitely stay again and recommend to other

The place was great. It was very convenient and we were able to walk to wherever we needed. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. I would say that if you’re a light sleeper this may not be the spot for you. You can definitely hear the owners above the room when they’re walking and coming down the stairs in the morning, but if that doesn’t bother you (didn’t bother us) it’s a great place to stay!

Really nice place to stay in the densest part of Amsterdam. It's a short walk from the main train station and to tram services, and there is an endless variety of bars and restaurants in easy reach. Be aware that this property is immediately adjacent to one of the red light sections of the city, so if you're traveling with children, they might be seeing some naughty things.

Rear upstairs great view with local architecture, very well prepared for travelers, coffee, dishes, some power adapters, etc. Awesome, Incredible local, great host. If you want to eat ar the Omelette place around the corner get there early, a line forms.

We loved our stay here! The location was great, the room was clean and comfortable, and David was kind and easy to communicate with. Highly reccomend this place!

Perfect location, everything is on the doorstep. Great host, very friendly and helpful. Allowed us to leave our things there on check in and check out days. The room was very clean and had everything you could ever need. Given how close it was to all the nightlife you really couldn’t hear much which was great. Couldn’t fault it in anyway, if I were to go back to Amsterdam I’d 100% stay there
