I chose Antigua over Curaçao for my vacation based on a great past experience at Jolly Harbour Villas, but sadly, this stay was disappointing. While check-in started off well thanks to one kind staff member, the rest of the front desk team was consistently unhelpful and unfriendly. Our A/C unit broke down on Thursday night—it was loud, leaking, and unusable. Though a technician came, he never returned as promised, leaving us to spend the night with just a ceiling fan and mosquitoes. Despite speaking with the property manager the next morning (who did seem concerned), the staff offered no clear answers or solutions. We were finally told the unit was fixed, but it still didn’t work. Only on Saturday evening—right before checkout—were we offered a room change, which was far too late. For the amount spent, this experience fell far below expectations. I’ve visited several Caribbean islands and never had service this poor. I wouldn’t stay at Jolly Beach again, though I must say the restaurant staff were excellent. I truly wish I had booked another hotel.

The food n drinks were good. The room wasnt what i booked like on the pictures. Plus my room was dirty. Sheets had to be changed and there were cobwebs over the bathroom sink. The beds were old so a lot of wear n tear all over.

Place is in disrepair and no management present. Was not welcomed it’s a smile at all every staff me never aside from 2 was rude and acted inconvenienced when asked any questions. Room was filthy and dated also had mosquitos and roaches. Bathroom was not clean and no housekeeping offered. No electrical outlet in the bathroom forced to use a blow dryer meant for mounting on wall in hand. Had to hold unit up since it was not attached to anything. The food was hit or miss and they offered nothing in between meal times it’s not inclusive it’s “meals included” The facility was open to the public for Mother’s Day brunch they obtained a day pass and used the pool and the food courts and bars caused resort guests to not be able to enjoy or access what they paid a lot for. Store on site has nothing and also closed at 5pm. There was never anyone around to put music on aside from the pool. Towel center closes early can’t return or exchange easily. Music should be everywhere hire an activities director and do things at night. Bartenders were not even personable. Every guest agrees they wouldn’t go back. Only nice part was the beach which is not anything the hotel could improve or control. And the cat who also looked like she was disgusted with the place! Should have offered resort guests alternative since day passes took up the entire facilites

The beach was our saving grace. Its gorgeous. SOME staff were amazing, most were unfriendly. There were roaches in my outdated dirty room. No room service and they claim ots not all inclusive but in fact is "3 meals a day" I personally would not return

Good value for money. The beach was perfect, very calm with crystal clear water. Rooms were outdated, but clean and bed was comfy. Overall happy with my stay

Amazing staff! Fantastic beach. Food is ok. The resort itself nice and clean, however rooms are very aged and definitely require renovation. And one more thing. housekeeping and towels changing need to be requested as needed. I find it very strange. Overall we had very good time

Perfect for relaxing, quiet getaway cant beat the beach

Great place to stay, wonderful beach, very kind staff, clean, we need to improve a bit the common areas that show wear and tear and maybe work a bit better on the restaurants organization, but I would definitely come back! Thank you Judith for your lovely morning songs!

It was a rainy season so you had to walk in rain to get to your room ,poor or no internet , no security cameras, leaking room when it’s raining, bad customer service, not much entertainment. I wasn’t happy there

Good food. Friendly staff. Beautiful beach front property! Rooms are outdated but you’re outside most of the time. Comfortable bed.

Most beautiful beach. Food was good, locals are nice but could be bothersome if you let them, but very quiet otherwise. Rooms were so small enough to fit a king size bed and bathroom. $10 per room clean if you request. Somewhat dirty and very outdated. The beach takes away everything that’s negative and makes you forget about all that. Bed is comfy and air conditioning works. Bring bug spray them mosquitoes don’t play. Safe trip

Loved staff. Very friendly. Food just ok on buffet. Pizza Factory was 10/10!. We almost licked our plates. Room was outdated and curtains in 1115 all stained. Bathroom rusty and mildewy. Great beach & large pool!!!

Lorenzo & Carla At The Front Desk Was The High light Of My Trip. They both has Amazing service. The Resort Didnt Hv "Real" Liquor Nor Blankets Nor Elevators Breakfast was 2/10. Shout Out To Lorenzo & His Staff At The Pizza Factory Dinner Was Amazing everytime We Dined There.
