This resort checks a lot of our boxes: quiet, adult only, beautiful grounds, lovely room, good bed, great beach, plenty of towels, comfortable beach chairs, reasonable food.
The food is expensive, and there are tour boats that come into the beach all day every day. Most of them are fairly quiet but you do end up sharing the beach and sea with children. There are also sand flies and I got badly bitten - I am still suffering a week after returning home.
The restaurant service is erratic - the wait between courses at the evening meal or for breakfast was often very long. Two meals were really bad, two were exceptionally good. Most were reasonable. There is a good choice and it changes each night. The resort is very isolated so there are no other options for food.
On balance we would consider returning except for those sand flies…
