Clean room

Ramada Hotel is a classic, traditional hotel in Guayaquil located in the downtown area, which is very walkable, although you should still be cautious when walking around. Right across the street is the Malecón, which has security, and transportation can easily pick you up or drop you off at the entrance, making it safer. The hotel has been there for many years and, as I was told, is currently undergoing renovations. The room I stayed in had not yet been renovated, but it was still spacious, comfortable, and perfectly fine for a stay. The pool and other amenities were great, and the breakfast was very good, including a couple of traditional Ecuadorian dishes.

Staff was excellent and the morning continental breakfast was excellent, Some plug ins and lights did not work in the room otherwise okay

No battery in tv remote never arrived

Kamer en beddengoed waren niet schoon. Vuilnisbak in douche was niet geleegd.

El hotel está totalmente descuido. La habitaciones revejidas, cortinas rotas sucias lavatorio tina inodoro viejo rotos. Cómo ustedes pueden ponerle 4 estrellas a este hotel! Televisor no funciona, sin central de comunicaciones, osea nada de nada! No vuelvo a usar Expedia si es capaz de recomendar con 4 estrellas este hotel. De horror!

It's little older style, but was clean and nice and safe and good service. Could use an update.
