Thevfood was grest, the location to the beach was great, the location to dar esxsallam was a good distance ,the room was ok but some "western "holiday makers may think they need updating

Nydelig strand!!! Rent og pent. Savnet madrass på solsengen. Solsengene kunne trenge litt vedlikehold, men fungerte. Likte ikke at det var så høy musikk på ettermiddagen og kvelden på lørdag og søndag. Likte at det ikke var musikk på ukedagene! Likte ikke at jeg måtte logge inn 1000 ganger på wifien. Wifi fungerte ikke på stranden. Al la carte frokost likte jeg! Rask servering. Enkelt og rent rom, men litt slitt. Savnet en liten lampe på nattbordet. TVen på mitt rom var ikke tilkoblet/ fungerte ikke, men jeg savnet det ikke, og jeg spurte ikke om å få det fikset. Følte meg trygg med vakter på stranden som kunne passe på mine saker når jeg badet. Vennlig betjening! Jeg var her i februar og var nesten alene på hotellet og på stranden. Jeg likte det! Bra pris! Under 25 $ per natt inkludert frokost og gratis wifi.

Serene clean beach, wonderfully integrated into the environment. Upgrade in facility infrastructure, elevator needed to support service staff, to minimize if not to eliminate injury to guest and staff.

Hotel room was poor, general condition needed lifting, cobwebs, flaking paint, stained bed linen in places, paper thin pillows, mattress needs upgrading please, generally needed some investment as the beach was very nice. It has a useful restaurant, bar, its main feature is the generous thatched roof over the building. Staff were very willing. I loved its location, less muzungu tourists, lovely beach. The pool looked ominous bredda.

It's just minutes away from major shopping malls, grocery stores and banks / atms for your convenience. This resort also has a full professional kitchen with several chefs each specializing in various generas of food which is why thier menu successfully encompasses American, Asian, Indian and Italian cuisine. If you're visiting Tanzania, make sure to go to Kigamboni..... And when you visit Kigamboni, don't even think about going anywhere else or you'll be missing out on an amazing experience!

The picture of the Hotel they have on the website is misleading: the beach is not directly in from of the hotel: you must walk 200m or so, passing in the swimmingpool area first (so no sand close to the hotel). The food and anything else is extremely overpriced compared to its value. Surprisingly you pay 15000 tzs for a juice (from carton), whereas in the previous 3* hotel where I was I could pay 15000 for juice (the same one) plus a complete meal.

Check in was smooth and staff are attentive and fun, rooms are simple and comfortable. Beach and water was just gorgeous. They're Indian and seafood was excellent.

This was the best holiday of my life. South Beach hotel has the most amazing atmosphere, especially on a Saturday night. And to top it off, the food was incredible; the staff were super-helpful (and spoke good English) and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Thank you!

It was terrible. Far from the ferries, they dont have transportation for guests, terrible staffing at night because when I arrived there almost everyone was asleep. I did not get any food because they dont do that service over night and the room condition is just very mediocre like a cheap hostel room. The food the following day was overpriced for no reason at all because for breakfast was simply very plain fried eggs and expensive tosts, and even there is no any professional customer care whats so ever. I would not go back there for a hotel experience or stay overnight. I would simply just go for a fresh expensinve Beach experience because they have it nice there but super expensive again.

Very smelly room , very poor condition, windiest beach ever been on, so overpriced and nightmare to get to by the ferry route would not recommend

Vi (min mand og jeg) havde nogle meget hyggelige og afslappende dage på hotellet. Personalet er meget venlige og vil gøre alt for at gøre os tilfredse. Maden er super og specielt i weekenderne kommer der mange besøgende til stedet, -isaer for at benytte poolen. Poolen rengøres jævnligt og generelt er rengøring og service udmærket til prisen. Vi kunne kun være trygge ved at bestille taxi via hotellet og f.eks få følgeskab ind til den lille by der ligger ca.400meter fra hotellet. Her kan man se det lokale markeder og div. håndværk i fuld aktivitet. der er mulighed for at købe malerier og div. batik. Stranden er speciel, da der er meget aendring pga. tidevandet. Der samles let meget tang og andet (desværre også plastik fra skibene på havet) ved højvande og det ligger på stranden når der er lavvand. Men vandet er klart og med store bølger man kan ride på. Et skoentstedvi gerne kommer tilbage til. Lars og Gitte

Olin marraskuun alussa South Beach Resortin lähes ainoa asukas, eikä ihme, hotelli sijaitsee sen verran hankalan (lautta)matkan takana. Hotelli hinnoittelee juomat ja ruuat yläkanttiin - mikä onkin helppoa sillä asukkaan on hankala niitä muualtakaan hankkia. Eli jos menet niin ota riittävästi ainakin pullovettä mukaan. Ranta ihan ok, mutta hotelli varoittelee vierailijoita kävelemästä "väärään suuntaan". Hotellin vartioinnista ei tullut itselle turvallinen vaan turvaton olo.

I was a bit unsure of the hotel do to the mixed nature of the reviews but decided to give it a shot, and what a great surprise! The location is awesome and the staff all smiling and warm ready to assist at anything they can. The food was delicious, their barbecue chicken (reshmi kebab?) and the indian dishes were fantastic. I am a curry lover and the tikka masala was just great! The breakfast was a surprise too as they brought out a local indian bread that is not only great to look at (puffed up like a balloon when it arrives) but went great with the eggs. The rooms are decent sized, a little bit on the older side, but very comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were average. Overall, I will definitely return for the location, the staff, the food and the beautiful pool and white sandy beaches.

Bekväma rum som hela tiden hölls rena av utmärkt personal Läget är något avsides men hotellet ställer upp med transporter till hyggliga priser. Högklassig mat, mycket variationsrik. Pool och hav passade bra efter 14 dagar i bushen

Jeg ankom dette hotellet etter noen flotte dager på Zanzibar. Noen vil nok finne det noe ubeleilig at hotellet ikke ligger i sentrum av Dar es Salaam (du bruker ca 40 min fra flyplassen til hotellet, og du må ta ferge), men dette er tvert om en fordel. Du slipper byens tjas og mas, og kan nyte ferien din i ro og mak. Servicen på hotellet er unik, og personalet er alltid på pletten for å tilfredstille dine ønsker. Hotellet har også svært høy sikkerhet (noe som er svært verdisatt i Dar es Salaam), med flere sikkerhetssperrer, høy mur, og et stort antall vakter. Rommene er enkelt, men pent innredet, med gode senger og deilig sengetøy. Trykket i dusjen er sterkt og godt. Jeg vil anbefale deg/dere å bestille taxi gjennom hotellet både ved ankomst og avreise, til tross for at dette er noe dyrere. Grunnen er at dette er svært mye enklere og tryggere.
