A beautiful lodge with very kind and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is very good (the dinner set menu was excellent!). A major highlight is the sunset view—simply amazing. Having two swimming pools is a great bonus. Very good value for money. Important Tip: Do not rely solely on Google Maps for directions as it is currently incorrect. Be sure to check the driving directions sent by the hotel (they usually send them a few days before arrival) to ensure you find the lodge easily. Would definitely stay here again!

Wir hatten insgesamt einen schönen Aufenthalt. Das Abendessen war sehr gut und hat uns überzeugt. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung und bot eine ausreichende Auswahl. Die Bäder in der Unterkunft waren allerdings nicht ganz so modern und ansprechend wie auf den Fotos dargestellt. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft dennoch okay.

Tolle Lodge mit Blick auf die Berge und die Stadt. Morgens kleines aber gutes Frühstück mit frischen Eiern nach Wahl. Abends Restaurant möglich.

River Crossing was beautiful. The accommodations were lovely. The setting was incredible. Staff were kindly, efficient, and welcoming. I wish my stay was longer.

Waren nur eine Nacht in der Unterkunft. Personal war freundlich und nett.

Das Zimmer war sparsam eingerichtet, groß, sauber und mit tollem Ausblick von der Terrasse. Die Lampen (auch am Bett) hatten zum Teil sehr kaltes, helles Licht, was nicht gemütlich war. Eine zusätzliche Kofferablage in der leeren Ecke wäre hilfreich. Die Eingangstür hatte oben einen mehrere Zentimeter breiten Spalt. Die Matratzen waren bequem. Das Personal war sehr nett, ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Abendessen gab es nur als Menü. Die Mittags- und Snackkarte war übersichtlich, die Speisen gut. Am Pool gab es weniger Liegen als Gäste, die sich dort aufhalten wollten.

Great lodge close to the airport. It's peaceful, has an expansive property and beautiful swimming pools. All the food was spectacular and the staff was wonderful. A great starting point or ending point for your flights out of Windhoek. I'm still dreaming of the oxtail stew that I had for lunch, best meal of my whole trip.

River Crossing Lodge is a rest for your soul. Magnificent views, excellent food, nice and comfortable rooms. I enjoyed the firm bed and the option to book with their mouth-watering dinner included. I enjoyed walking around on the property and would highly recommend if you are in the area.

My room was its own beautifully designed little house with an unobstructed view! It felt like I was the only one on the whole property whenever I was in it. The staff is incredible and I couldn’t believe how good the food was. Truly exceptional. It’s in the hills just outside Windhoek and is one of the most relaxing places I’ve ever stayed. I booked it for my first night in Namibia and was extremely annoyed that I hadn’t booked it for my last.

Very nice location with great views: either towards the hills or towards the city. Great and friendly service with a smile. Rooms are well done with space for luggage. A small personal patio (or stoep as they call it) with comfortable chairs when used with the cushions from the inside chairs.

If you want to start your Namibia holiday straight after landing, this is a good place to start. Only 8 mins drive to Windhoek, it has stunning views from almost anywhere on the property, friendly staff, good food (dinner and breakfast). Visits from Cody the cat was a bonus.

The staff, the room and food was amazing i could not fault this accommodation in any way.
