I loved my stay at Château Royal

Read so many reviews about this hotel that does not aligns with my experience. This is still an amazing hotel for a relaxed getaway in August 2025. First time in Noumea, so I don’t know what it’s like pre-2024 - but I’m glad I came and stayed here! Great hotel staff, excellent service, amazing and convenient location + the fact that there is a kitchenette made our trip so much better. Thank you and highly recommended. Will definitely come back the next time.

Toujours parfait, propre, calme, rien à redire

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful views, walkable to island boats, literally on the beach for swimming and snorkelling. The aquatonic spa was incredible, a great feature of this iconic resort.

The resort was very clean and modern. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel is well located next to a nice beach and a strip of restaurants and eateries.

Fantastic stay, great hotel. One bedroom hotel room perfect for stay with a young child. Staff knowledgeable and friendly. Very short walk to nearby Anse Vata beach and restaurants. Really enjoyed the Aquatonic pool inside of the hotel spa, this was luckily included in our room rate.

les repas brunch vraiment pas terrible pour nous,, a savoir viande trop cuite et accompagnement froid (3900frs) saumon tres tres salé,champignon a peine decongelé donc froid..sauce sole que de l eau sans gout...ect....le dessert etait bon...peut etre changer de chef cuisinier...............

Bien mais le service réception s’arrête à 23h30 et pas de room service dans l’hôtel. Pas de buffet au petit déjeuner, seulement à la carte.

We had a wonderful holiday stay! Although we experienced a few rainy days, the front desk team was incredibly helpful in arranging alternative activities for us. A special thanks to Ludovic, Alexandra, Mehdi, Claire, Donorrie, and Anna for making our visit memorable!

We stayed two nights and found the staff to be very helpful with any queries and support required. They went out of their way to arrange transport/transfers and ensure we had everything we need. Our room was immaculate, spacious and quiet. The hotel itself is close to shops, cafes and the beach. Highly recommend and would stay again in future.

Hotel is very good, clean, staff very pleasand and helpfull, beach is good for swimming, but snorkeling is rather poor....internet wasn't the best and need upgrade...little kitchen in each room is great for small meals preparation...Pools was great. Would visit again...

A wonderful resort and spa. Friendly staff who spoke English well, great room and cleaning service with pool and beach area. Pity that the restaurant wasn’t closed, but the snack bar was exceptional and had all we needed for meals.

Très bon accueil, souriant de la part des réceptionniste et surtout Clément qui s’est occupé de nous Petit « soucis » avec la chambre, mais qui a été résolu en début de soirée
