Ondanks er werken waren in het hotel, hebben wij hier weinig van gemerkt. Er was geen geluidsoverlast. Het zwembad was buiten gebruik, maar het hotel had voorzien dat zijn cliënteel kon zwemmen in een naburig hotel (Radisson blu). Voor de rest was de service prima. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Voor lekker eten en drinken kan je terecht bij cafe Mocha en restaurant Tuscany.

Well, during and after booking the hotel it wasn’t mentioned by any means that the hotel is going through reconstruction. The whole pool area appeared to be a construction zone fully closed. Reception moved to the 4th floor, most restaurants not working, access to the beach from the side door. During check-in they handed me a piece of paper with all these details, offering a transfer to another hotel away from the sea for the pool. Very inconvenient. They should have closed this place completely and open it after renovation is done. Total screw-up.

The property and rooms are tired with a much needed renovation in progress. The pool and garden area is closed while undergoing the renovation, so expecting the place to be much better once this is completed. The rooms we were assigned could also use some renovation as there was cracked caulking around the tub and shower and green water staining on plumbing fixtures. Carpets could also stand to be replaced. Rooms were nice and comfortable, however. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful especially the staff at the Mokha Cafe during the breakfast buffet. They went above and beyond to make our breakfast experience the shining star of our stay there. I want to especially single out our server Abdullah T. who greeted us every morning with a warm smile and friendly air. He remembered our coffee orders from the first day and provided them upon arrival. He was absolutely the best and helped make our visit to Oman one the most memorable and positive holidays I have had in a long while. The Grand Hyatt's location to the beach walk is another reason to select this Hotel despite the ongoing renovation. I did not miss not having a pool as we spent a lot of time on the beach and swimming in the gulf. Easy walk to some very amazing eateries, especially Mado in the Waterfront Shopping plaza.

Worst hotel ever. The style looks like Disneyland, but the worst thing was that the pool was closed and they move you to a neighboring hotel with a dirty pool and the street with cars overhead. No cars of the clients

What a grand hotel! Amazing place . They are doing extensive renovations and no access to the beach front at all. This place must look amazing when pool is opened. Hope they keep the same elegant feel to it.

Breakfast buffet is pretty nice and the spacious room, overall my stay wasn’t pleasant. 1.Hotel is old and people smoking and the smell went in to the room 2. Noisy, I don’t know why people here talk very loud 3.i guess I have amazing encounters with people in Dubai UAE. People around here as not as nice in UAE. I wish I stay in W Hotel instead in Grand Hyatt.

A short stay in Muscat. A short walk to the beach and easy access to all that Muscat & Oman offer from the old city, port, souk, museum’s, Mosques as well as the Wadis etc Delightful helpful friendly staff

Great staff. Undergoing renovations. Many things closed. The areas we were in are overdue for renovations. Can’t wait to see the end result. Staff was amazing.

Hotel is under complete renovation process.all major facilities destroyed. The room itself is perfect. But u only pay for the room. All the rest is not there anymore. Plus you get a complimentary construction site noise all day around. I immediately checked out but the property charged me 1 night🔥

There were building works going on and was woken at 3am to the sound of workmen using power tools . I only found out there were building works when I checked in.

Det har set sin storhedstid før. Hotellet er super lækkert og ligger ud til vandet, men det er meget slidt. Det trænger til renovering og er under renovering, hvilket betyder, at den udendørs pool ikke var tilgængelig og store dele af hotellet var under ombygning. Fitness centeret var dog super lækkert. Jeg ser frem til at vende tilbage, når det er blevet fuldt renoveret.

Der Pool war trocken!! Bauarbeiten. der Strand war nicht benutzbar, KEINE Liegen, Keine Sonnenschirme, Bauzäune, Absperrungen. im Hotel: Lärmbelästigung wegen BAUARBEITEN. NIE WIEDER !!

old and dirty

My family and I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt Muscat and it was a great experience! It was our first family trip after having our baby and the staff was AMAZING! Everyone was so kind and accommodating. The hotel is very charming and welcoming. You can tell that it is a bit older but not in a negative way. All facilities were clean and easy to use. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family!
