The HAPPY place! Everyone....from the moment you step foot on the property (concierge,reception,wait staff/servers,housekeeping)... EVERY employee we encountered was welcoming and helpful to the nth degree! As soon as we stepped into our waterfront room,we both said "WOW" at that balcony view! It was wonderful! MOST unique: Cathedral Cave swimming......amazing!!!

Need to update all rooms and lobby has a musty smell and AC vents in lobby leak on floor

Wonderful island with nice people, but VERY expensive. Grotto Resort is conveniently location near St George which is more like "old Bermuda" and can be reached in a 10 min. bus ride. It currently is the only Resort to offer an "All-Inclusive" option for dining on the island. 2 menus to choose from but comes out of 1 kitchen. Very good beach grill. Food is good. We visited the smaller towns (Flatts/Tuckertown/Somerset) and wanted to eat local. Traveling by bus and ferry is very safe even at night. Property is hilly, older, but well kept. They are building 2 new buildings and I hope another restaurant.

I liked all aspects of the Grotto Bay Resort, however, walking all over (hills and stairs to pool and beach) at times were excessive.

Location and access to the beach

We really liked the underwater grottoes where we could swim and also we had a massage in one of the grottos. The place is very beautiful right on the water can't ask for more.

The hotel was amazing including the spa. Very unique spa experience in a cave.

Staff was guite friendly and helpful. Was surprised at the number of stairs from the lobby building to our room, but it was good exercise and we took advantage of the bell service for a ride upon departure. First meal in Bermuda at the poolside restaurant was mediocre and pricey but grab and go breakfast in the bar was better quality and value. Cocktails were also good. The room was attractive and modern in style and the water views and snorkeling so good I would choose to stay here again. The location was convenient to the airport and Swizzle Inn, and once we discovered the bus service it was easier and affordable to get around the island.

It would have been nice to know how far away the rooms were from the different amenities on property. Especially for a pregnant woman. Lots of hills and walking just to get to meals or the only pool. Meat/fish was overcooked at both dinners we had. More all inclusive transparency when looking at our options before the trip. What’s included vs. not.

Property was lovely and staff was very nice.

The only comment I would make us that the room housekeeping was nit up to standard. Everything else was wonderful....the foid was too good !!!!! The main lodge staff were wonderful as were the dining staff!!!

The property was in a lovely location looking out onto a water view. Unfortunately it is not very favourable for one with mobility issues or if you have a stroller. That being said you can ask for transport from the bellman however you still might have to contend with stairs since there are no elevators.also there are periods when you cannot get something to eat. We arrived hungry at 4:30 but had to wait until 6:30 to be able to get food. I must say the bellmen were the most pleasant and helpful but the front desk was hit and miss

This is a wonderful resort in Bermuda with so many things to do right on site…swimming in cave, feeding fish, spa, hiking, paddle boards, snorkeling with shipwreck, great food with an all inclusive option, a great family getaway convenient to airport too

The resort was nice and updated. All inclusive was a nice option but the dining options are extremely limited. Its the same menu every day. And the food is very average at best. Also the alcohol drinks are premade in jugs which I thought was gross and cheap. Last was all the roosters everywhere. When I saw the cockroaches I then knew why they were there. This was a new experience for me at the resort. It was a 3rd time there and unfortunately there will not be a 4th. Too grossed out.

I thought the property was a little old on the negative side on the plus side staff friendly - airport close - food excellant beach nice

We liked the ocean front

The lobby bar should be open at 1100am until late for those people that don’t want to sit outside in the heat at a noisy pool bar. Drinks in the main lobby bar were very cold while the pool bar and upstairs outside are were warm.

Beautiful

Just what I needed. Lived how everything I wanted for my vacation was right at the resort. All of the staff were welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. Im glad they offered the all-inclusive meal plan add on. The food was delicious for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I was highly impressed!!! The beach and the water was so relaxing and refreshing and at night the frogs "sang" in a melodic tune all night just if if you were being serenaded. I would stay again!
