Unique hotel property, great staff, love our stay

I would definitely stay again.

The craftsman is a really quirky hotel with such interesting features. The staff were so enthusiastic and engaging and went above and beyond to help you

The Craftsmen-Team is getting it right! Attention to detail and customer-focus is great.

Excellent place. Style, quality and good taste. It is a time travel. To note, unfortunatelly, strong sewer odor in room (The Cartographer).

Lovely boutique hotel. Staff were beyond exceptional. We felt very well taken care of.

The hotel was an excellent opportunity to experience a 17th century vintage property. Property was in excellent condition and was well maintained. Staff and services were excellent.

The staff were wonderful and treated us like royal. The breakfast was delicious. The room was cleaned and comfortable.

Just fyi, this property IS in a red lights district. Not the famous downtown red lights district, but the red lights district for locals. Right on the same street, there are windows with women sitting in them and red lights. Also, some rooms do not have air conditioning. The last concern was that we had a door that went straight to the outside street, and housekeeping left it open after cleaning, leaving our room and stuff open to the public. Luckily, nothing was taken. The staff, especially Wies, was very nice and kind. The building is really cool, and so are the rooms. We did get moved to a room with air conditioning for one night, and that night was great. Their breakfast is very nice - lots of options and you eat with a view of the canal.

The attention to detail in the rooms is fantastic. You are stepping back in time.

Every room had its unique design reflecting a particular craft. It was made with great taste and some sense of humor. My bar looked like a leather suitcase. The window view was beautiful, facing the Singel canal. The staff was nice and very friendly. The bed was big and very comfy. Everything was clean.

It’s a lovely, privately run, property. Traveling solo, it was a very small space with no AC but they did provide a portable Dyson AC unit. And the included breakfast was superb.

It was a short but wonderful stay. The rooms are small but very cozy, the staff is very accommodating. I only wish I had more time for the lovely looking breakfast that was provided. 5Star!

Central, which comes with some noise, but comfortable and great/unique breakfast

Wonderful stay. We had early flight so we were given a to go bag for breakfast. I was accidently given a gluten free breakfast so my bag was changed out for another one. I was very disappointed to find that this bag had no yogurt and the bananas were green Bummer! That's what I would have liked to eaten at 6am. That is my only complaint. That and nights were noisy due to old building noises
