We enjoyed our stay here. There was nothing not to like. The staff were helpful and very friendly, the hotel was very clean, our room was comfortable. We would certainly stay again if staying in the area.

Lovely property, spacious room, plenty of parking and room to store my bike safely. My evening meal was delicious and a good choice at breakfast, which was included in the room rate, a rarity these day! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Thank you

Very nice. Food is great. Room 4 floors were really noisy. 4 poster bed, nice room, but a mattrass that you can feel springs through... needs a good topper on the bed Plenty parking

Stayed one night at The Loftsome Bridge hotel and would definitely book to stay there again. The courtyard outside of reception had a nice seating area and a lily pond. Our room was super clean (as was the the rest of the hotel), and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was relatively big and had a bath, which was perfect as we cycled there and our muscles needed some TLC. I also liked that we could open the bedroom windows. Dinner and breakfast were excellent and throughout our stay all staff were polite and welcoming.

Always a warm friendly welcome at this hotel. The main areas of the bar and restaurant are good. Havnt stayed in the main building only the cottages. Although clean and spacious they are looking a little tired and could do with freshening up.

Enjoyed the stay at Loftsome bridge but a major criticism is that the restaurant takes the last order at 7:30pm and it’s in the middle of nowhere so it’s necessary to have a car. Ended up having to check into another hotel for one night to enjoy going out for dinner. There is also no lift for heavy suitcases. They also charge extra for specialty coffees/ hot chocolate which seems absurd when the full breakfast is part of the deal. However, the staff were friendly and it is a beautiful hotel. Take spray for mosquitoes as plenty outside. Could have benefitted from board/ card games for guests as entertainment is limited. Comfortable bed and lovely room/ bathroom.

Great rural location, we arrived on a Sunday early eve , the restaurant was closed and we had to let ourselves in, on the other hand the staff were very helpful with storing our bikes and happy for us to order in food and eat in the pretty courtyard. Good breakfast very nice common areas and breakfast room

Great place, central for Hull and York , lovely staff, fantastic room , easy parking, whats not to love , will definitely book again.

Really beautiful property with good facilities. We arrived late and left early in the morning for a wedding, as such didn’t get the full benefit of the stay. It was good value for the area, breakfast was lovely. Scored slightly lower in one area as the bathroom blind was in a poor state and needs repairing. We had to put a few items in the window to hold it in place or people could see in. Would stay again though, would be nice to spend more time discovering the area.

Lovely post house, beautifully restored. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the way north. Will certainly stay again if in the area.

A lovely hotel in a great country setting. Nice grounds and a river at the end of the garden. Hotel nicely decorated and very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. I only had breakfast at the hotel but that was top notch. I would definately stay there again.

The staff were lovely the rooms were very tired needed a refresher The food although was very nice portions were tiny no enough for a child and very pricey Unfortunately after third stay at hotel Will not go back which is a shame new managers need to address shortcomings

Fabulous hotel. The food was first class, the staff were friendly and the service was excellent. We stayed in one of the cottages. everything was excellent, clean and comfortable, all the facilities you would except were available. If I am being pedantic, the decor in the cottage was dated compared to the main hotel, but some may love the styling. We will definitely stay again
