Staff helpful throughout. Small on site restaurant with helpful service. Breakfast, coooked to perfection in short time scale before departure.

Good place for a short stay - esp when getting to Blantyre airport in the morning. If doing that then book the taxi through the hotel - it's cheaper than Uber - about £25 GBP one way. Food was pretty good and room was comfortable enough - and though no AC in room - just a fan - it wasn't so hot at the time I was there - so not a major problem. Staff friendly and helpful. Good value for teh price. I will be staying there again, no doubt.

Villa 33 is a basic, clean and friendly place. Nothing fancy, but a good place to stay for a few nights.

No a/c, but fan in room. Power and therefore wifi and tv intermittent. Breakfast included and quite good. Dinner was also good, but beer not chilled enough for my tastes. Lunch was very limited and very basic. Ice cream was surprisingly good. Nice and helpful staff. Quiet and seems secure. Half hour+ from airport. I'd stay there again.

We were pleased with the Villa 33. The room saw not new but comfortable. Bed was a bit hard, but over all it was OK, especially for th eprice.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food! On my first night I found the mattress a little hard and the manager was very helpful moving me to another room the next day, which was very comfortable.

Hotel was hard to find, no Air conditioning, no phone in room.. Toilets and bathroom were in very bad condition. Done mistake by booking and paying in advance. One not deserve that condition after paying 80 USD

We recommend Villa 33 without reservation! Excellent service, friendly staff (typical Malawi) and beautiful surroundings. A wonderful place!

I was originally only going to stay 1 night at Villa 33 but enjoyed it so much I ended up staying 6 nights in total. Zane, the owner, was extremely helpful with information about Blantyre and surrounding areas. As a local he is very familiar with the area and is well connected with people in the community. The other staff members were friendly and very welcoming too. I was travelling alone and found Villa 33 refreshing in terms of the friendliness of the staff and the other patrons. It was a lovely place to stay. The room I stayed in was huge! It was clean, comfortable and very nice to stay in. The location of Villa 33 was very nice. It was close enough to walk to Blantyre city if I wanted, (or you could take a very quick minibus that would stop right outside the gates of Villa 33), but far enough out of Blantyre city to be an area that felt relaxing and less hectic…kind of the best of both worlds.
