Comfortable beds and a great shower

I would have given a 5 star rating but I guess the owners are not available locally to fix things. Whoever is looking after the unit was dismissive when I e mailed them about the coffeemaker which was none functional. It was missing an important small piece. We all took a turn going through the kitchen to try and find it after going on the internet to see exactly what it looked like. We sent 2 e mails and 3 photos of the issue we were basically given the brush off and it was implied that we didn’t know how to use it. Communication is not to a person but an e mail address with a business name and replies came unsigned. Okay maybe having a coffee in the morning isn’t a big deal but it was the way it was not taken care of. Super annoying. The apartment itself is very nice. The location is good. The tv was easy to use. We let the very courteous housekeeper know when we left, that the coffeemaker didn’t work so the next renters would not be disappointed. We really wanted to love the place and ate at the owners restaurant twice, giving it a 5 star review.

PERFECT base for our long weekend in Lake Bled. Parking was absolutely fine, and we were a 2-minute drive / 10-minute walk to a Lidl. Ample space for me and my two kids (young adults). Super easy walk into town. Note that if you're looking for coffee at Lake Bled in the off season, it's hard to buy before 10am (later on weekends) - the coffee maker was the one thing we figure out in the apartment.

I enjoyed my time at 1861 Blejka apartments. Stayed with my family. It was clean, spacious, air conditioned (which was useful as it was 30+ degrees during the stay). The connections from Bled Union bus stop were fantastic and saved walking into the central bus station. Food options are 5 mins walk from the property and a grocery store is 10 mins walk. The shower room was downstairs next to the kitchen and living area rather than next to the bedrooms but this was not a problem for us. The shower was good with decent pressure. No problem with the kitchen appliances. We were able to make food to eat and the dishwasher saved time on washing up. Throughly enjoyed our stay.
