stayed here for 3 nights. during my stay, electricity and wifi only worked 40% the time. the third and last night i stayed, there was no water- no running water to boil, no shower and no toilet flush. the corner room i stayed in gets very loud at night and early mornings so bring earplugs. it can get pretty uncomfortable at night if the electricity is down as their backup generator doesn't cover the fan or wifi. the airport shuttle surcharge is 10€ or 250 dobras each way. despite what is written in expedia, the airport shuttle is NOT INCLUDED in the price of the room. because the electricity and internet was down and the staff was nowhere, i had to go across the street to the liquor store to ask the store clerk to call a taxi to the airport.

I had a very good time here, got a lot of service and information from the family and in fact almost felt like a family member.

It's basic, but it's the best value on sao tome
