The Villa De 1945 is a beautiful building. Rooms are spacious and clean. Wifi is good. The location is central - close to the river walkway. I did find the receptionist when I checked not particularly welcoming but staff overall were friendly and helpful. This seems to be a hotel that caters primarily for Indian guests rather than foreigners. That is understandable as Mahe is not a common tourist destination.
