This is not the Ritz so if you're expecting linen sheets and room service 24 hours a day don't come here.But if you want good to accommodation and a great price and fantastic staff and even getting all combined with a rooster at 7:45 in the morning this is the place and you will never be more relaxed in your life!

Clean and basic accommodation near the airport. Not much around, but good for an early flight. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

When we checked in we were almost made to feel like criminals, with the "manager" telling us we had not paid(although I showed him my bank account from December 2024!)...we waited an hour whilst I was on chat with Expedia...disgusted by how we were treated and made to feel...no apology either, even if an empty apology...would not recommend it to my dog!! Would give minus points if I could...

Lean. All meals made to order. Air conditioned room. Free transportation within reason. Everyone welcoming

The Giraffe Lodge Arusha is excellent value for money and the staff are incredibly friendly. We spent the night here before an early morning flight to Zanzibar (only 10 minutes to the airport which is one of its big plus points). We had dinner and watched Tanzania play a football match with a bar full of locals which was a great experience. The food is really good (dinner and breakfast), the room was clean and the staff could not do enough for us It is a real local’s area which we love away from some of the big chains. We would not hesitate to stay again

This was a great find. Friendly staff and very accommodating. Awesome manager, he went to the store to find medicine for our son. Beds were comfortable, showers were hot and the food was delicious. We are so thankful we stayed here.

We had a pleasant stay one night. The hotel is just off the main road, but a bit outside the city center. However, there is not too much in the city center, so if you just need a sleep over, this is a good spot. Clean and friendly, and quiet since it is off the main road.

We stayed two nights, before and after our safari. Staff were fantastic! Everyone was friendly and helpful, nothing was too much to arrange. We ate well and had two fun nights in the hotel bar. There was no need to venture out of the hotel premises.

Great food! Good service! Not the location. I would recommend if you don’t mind the location. You could spend less a quarter dollar to reach to city center.

This hotel is a very cozy and price worthy place with the most friendly staff who will do anything to help you out. Especially the manager Mr. Msuya made our stay so pleasant but also the chef made us delicious food and the housekeepers did a great job too. Its located a bit outside from Arusha center but the hotel provided rides for a very fair price and if you wanna tey the local way of transporting youraelf the Daladala only cost 500 shilling per person (2,2 sek) yet be prepared to sit close to your neighbor.

Wir haben hier vor und nach unserer Safari übernachtet. Besonders gut geeignet für Gäste, die in Arusha Flughafen ankommen oder abfliegen. Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Kilometer vom Flughafen entfernt und man wird kostenlos vom Hotel Manager abgeholt und zum Flughafen gebracht. Die Umgebung ist viel ruhiger als die Innenstadt. Die Unterkunft selbst bietet ein wunderbares Preis-Leistungsverhältnis an. Das Zimmer war sauber und relativ gut ausgestattet. Man kann auch günstig im Hotel essen. 100% empfehlenswert.
