So close for viewing of the Savannah animals and the pure peace of the place was bliss!

A unique experience

Staying at Zoofari is a wonderful experience. Beautifully layed out tents with a patio where you can sit for hours watching the savannah animals. The 2 tours give you a look at some of the behind the scenes areas of the zoo. The food is amazing and so fresh. The staff are so helpful and friendly. We stayed for 2 nights and loved it.

Worth a long drive. All staff were excellent customer service, especially Greg who did our private tour on the second day was very professional and full of knowledge.

Lovely stay in a glamping tent at Zoofari Lodge with the most amazing view of the Savannah at Taronga Western Plains Zoo. All the wonderful staff were fabulous, especially Isabelle and Emma who checked us in and took us on evening and morning special experiences. Food was delicious, could'nt fault anything.

It was a wonderful stay. The view from our room was very nice and the giraffes were right in front of us. Dinner, breakfast and two tours were included. Services were excellent!

Whole property and experience at Zoofari from the included tours to the first class meals, exceptional staff plus the animal encounters were all truly incredible and a fantastic memory for myself and my visiting family from the UK. A truly magical experience and one not of us will ever forget

The staff at Zoofari Lodge is amazing. They are all so helpful especially Jacob and Isabella. Helen was incredibly friendly. They really look after you with their hearts - took care of my husband so well in a wheelchair - big call-out to Terry who was with my husband during the zoo tour - thank you Terry. I was very impressed how appreciative the staff was with our visit and always expressing their thanks to help Taronga Zoo a non profit organisation. The animals are so well looked after - there is a lot of love here both to the animals and guests and visitors to the zoo - AMAZING- thank you so very much !

Can't recommend this highly enough. What a fantastic experience. The staff work so hard and were so welcoming. To see Giraffes, Rhinos, Ostriches, Impalas...etc right outside our accom was so special. The only negative I could find was that there wasn't enough time from check-in to get settled and take it all in before the sundown tour. We all agreed that 2 nights would be perfect to fully experience it all and get some downtime to enjoy and watch the animals with a drink from our balcony. All in all it was an outstanding experience and will be talking about it for years to come.

An exceptional stay in a bush view lodge "tent". The included activities were delightful (feeding a giraffe was a highlight!), and the three-course dinner was absolutely delicious, as was breakfast the next day. Excellent gluten free options too, which was much appreciated! Staff were wonderful, tours fabulous, room was comfortable and warm despite it being 0C overnight. 'Tents' are starting to show a little bit of age and a little refresh wouldn't go amiss, but honestly this didn't detract from the stay at all. Highly recommended!

Incredible comfortable cabins so close to a huge field full of wild African animals.

Loved the whole experience. Staff were amazing. Food amazing. We had two days there which we felt were needed. Spread the unique tours over 2 days instead of cramming and had time to drive round the main zoo. Expensive but worth every penny and not expensive considering inclusions and service. Thoroughly recommend. Note no wifi in lodges but there is in main guest house. A bit of a walk from car if you have a lot of luggage, not that convenient (we are older people)

Worth of long drive

The tours included with the zoofari was excellent. The staff were friendly, some were very knowledgeable others very inexperience. The worse part was the included dinner. The quality of the food for dinner was very poor. The kids menu was more palatable than the adult meals. Dinner was very inefficient, we had to wait a long time to get food, and dessert was missi

It was my second time staying here, I just love it such a fantastic experience, will be back again.
